Rose and rookie point guard Jay Williams are supposedly incompatible. Vecsey says the New York Knicks are interested and may involve Latrell Sprewell in the trade discussion.</i> ...oh wait...that was from Vecscey. Sorry for wasting your time.
hmm, perhaps he confused Jalen Rose with Jamal Crawford? Not sure why they would clash too much on the court, other than they both need the ball in their hands. Still, for an injured Spree? Isn't he even older(and less skilled) than Rose? Oh wait, Vescey is a NY homer, that explains it.
Vescey's just trying to come up with a way for the Knicks to dump Sprewell for something of value - in this case, a lot more than he's worth. It's not a Knicks trade rumor without the Knicks getting back more than they give. See: Kurt Thomas, Charlie Ward, and Latrell Sprewell. It's not a Bulls trade rumor without the Bulls getting back more than they give. See: Jamal Crawford and Marcus Fizer. With condition two failing to be met, it's garbage.
I completely agree with you guys, this is Vescey making up crap to try and bail the Knicks out of the dumpster. I'm never going to forget during an NBA Finals game a few years ago when he was stumbling over himself with lies. . .rumors on the air that he allegedly heard about Atlanta. It was hilarious, his credibility was shot and he was visibly upset. Rose isn't going anywhere, and it's going to be funny watching the Bulls finish with a better record then the Knicks and finish ahead of them by the end of the season. Just like old times!
I heard the same thing too. Chicago's not happy with how Jalen is thinking individual before team. He's also not workin well with Jay Williams. But, who knows, the media could be blowin it all out of proportion.
This seems odd considering the positive press he recieved after the trade was made last season. I remeber sportcenter having a feature story about his great attitute in Chicago. However a lot can change over the summer. Even if he has some attitude problems I dont see the Bulls dumping him for another teams garbage.
It's not a Clutch BBS trade rumor without the Rockets trading a second-round draft pick and a slightly crushed packet of Saltines for Austin Croshere and the rights to Wilt Chamberlain's DNA.
I heard the guy they want to trade for is Sprewell of the Knicks. Then I read that Sprewell will make a media announcement on Monday, nobody knows what the announcement will be about. I'm thinking is about the trade, anyways that's a good move Sprewell is a better player at everything then Rose.
Weren't we in talks about this last week? But I think the Pacers said, "Make it Ritz crackers and you've got a deal," but CD balked...
Well, IF its true (and that's a glacial-sized IF considering the source), that's disappointing. I thought Rose would be a perfect fit for the Bulls, that he would fit the offense to a T, and be able to be the star and leader of a young up-and-coming team. It's a perfect situation for Jalen.
Do most of ya'll really think Jalen Rose is better than Sprewell. He might be slightly less of a punk (slightly), but there aren't many things I can think of that he's better than Sprewell at. He might be a better PG, but I really wouldn't want either at the point.
