Let's play WHO WILL GET THE BUST? Rocket River I vote Clippers. They have done too well in the last couple of drafts . . . .they due for a major f*ck up ------------------
OH, I'm going to go out on a limb (a VERY short limb) and say,... Golden State (Becasue, outside of Jamison, who have they drafted that has panned out in the past 7 years) ------------------
Minnesota. They already f*cked up their pick for this draft. ------------------ Bingbong was set up, led to an untimely death in the prime of his life for no other reason than pure malice. Things like that do not go unavenged. Sometimes it spills out onto the field of play.
Jordan will. The guy should just trade that #1 to Sacramento for you know who and admit he's on a title quest for the shortterm. If he doesn't, he'll miss an opportunity at a title run for his city, himself and his team. This begs the question, would you trade the #1 for a title run NOW!.

Rockets , ahh classic tweak . 3 first rounders are hard to screw up . Boston will screw it up even though they have 10 and 11 . ------------------ The Rocket Saint ST.eve Francis of a CC.net
Unless that #1 was a great player like Duncan, Shaq, Robinson, and Hakeem were I would. You never know when you'll have another opportunity to contend for a championship if you pass up a chance. ------------------

No, but if I were Washington, I would trade it to a team that wants to move up & is offering 2 or 3 #1 Picks this year, even if it meant getting Cato included. However, I might ask for KT to be thrown in as well. ------------------ [This message has been edited by Hottoddie (edited May 21, 2001).]
If history is any indicator, there will be several screw ups in the lottery. Why not try and guess who will actually get the "stud player". Or is that not as fun? ------------------ NBA Draft Lottery is May 20th. Start praying now.
Sorry, I missed a dosage. ------------------ The Protrolls.com message boards! Protrolls.com! Don't visit my site.
Easy.....Vancouver Wasn't it great to see Krause sitting there all dejected after he found out he had the 4th pick? He hehehehehehehee!!! ------------------ My doctor says I am bipolar. If anyone draft Diop in the first 5 picks (including my Bullies) they've drafted a bust. He's OLO, all over again. ------------------
At first glance it would seem the Rockets, but like usual Rudy might surprise by picking up a gem that no one knows about. Acutally I would trade our 2 or 3 first rounders for like 8 second rounders. Rudy and Dawson do much better in the second round anyways ------------------
moestavern19, I would've said Boston too if Pitino was still there. I have a feeling that Vancouver will screw the most. If I was mgmt, I wouldn't, especially in Houston. Most fans in Houston are the "what have you done for me lately" types of fan. You have to remain competitive to keep the arena packed. However, if I was Jordan, I would definately do the trade. At most, the geezers would have 3 years of "life" in them, you can not wait to develop a HS player to help you compete for a championship.
The Rockets will. They will just draft another Cuttino and he will be bashed hard in here so that the real Cuttino will have a break. ------------------ Technically speaking, we're #1! ~Portland fans
Why does everyone think the Rockets will screw up? The Rockets have been great in drafts throughout the years. 00 - Collier, Langhi Langhi's not bad for a second rounder. Collier...well it was a really shallow draft 99 - Trade For Francis, Kenny Thomas Well at #2 Francis was expected to be good At twenty something KT was a steal! 98 - Dickerson, Drew, Turkcan, Mobley Dickerson a great pick at 14 Drew a decent pick at 16 Turkcan over Rashard the 1 screwup... But Mobley at 40 something makes up for it! 97 - Rodrick Rhodes Well at least he lasted in the league for a few years. After Duncan & McGrady that draft class was very weak 93 - Cassell Another steal late in the 1st round 92 - Horry Also a late first rounder ------------------ [This message has been edited by SteveFrancis3 (edited May 23, 2001).]
