Astros: 1. new sensation by INXS...they used to run this song with an advertisement for the team on the local station back in the late 80's. 2. everlong by foo fighters...saw a highlight reel of the astros in 98, i think, to this song...and it just stuck. Texans: 1. down with the sickness Rockets: 1. the intro song they had during the championship years..i can never remember the name 2. hip hop hooray -- naughty by nature...they re-mixed this song during the 93 playoff run and changed the words to talk about certain players on the team and "kicking butt in the Summit" 3. red rain by peter gabriel...that's a reach, i know...but for some reason it reminds me of them
Texans: As said before, "Down With the Sickness" by Disturbed. I can't think of a better intro for them than those heavy drums that song has. Good song, goes well with a good team. "Boom" by P.O.D. - Whenever I hear that song, I think of the Texans scoring a TD because that's the song they usually play. Rockets: Definitely the techno theme they used during the championship, still gets me going. Also, whatever that song they play when they do good...like ride that pony or something?
Rockets (specifically Hakeem) - The Best - Tina Turner Also, I associate the song "Winning It All" with our championship days.

For the Rockets- that old rap that Hakeem did with Hurt 'em Bad - The Unbeatable Dream. Just hearing (H)Akeem with the "unbeatable" is hilarious.

Man, I still have the 12" LP of that song. I associate the Rockets with the Moochie Song and 'Wild Thing', because they play it about 45 times a game.

I think you're referring to "Whoomp There It Is" by Tag Team. They had that "kicking butt in the Summit" line in that remix for the Rockets. Then there was the remix to Shaggy's "Bombastic" too, with Rockets references.
