I think we've done this before, but what the hell.

Note: This is not a 'what have you been listening to lately' thread (Manny) so only post what song is in your head at this very moment. Don't think about it, just post it. It can be a song, a commercial jingle, whatever.

    I'll start...

Killroy - Styx (Sweet Christ, why, why, WHY did this song pop into my head?!?!? )

Cuz I feel so secure when we're together.
You give my life direction, you make everything soooo clear.

And even as I wander, I'm keeping you sight.
you're a candle in the window on a cold dark winter's night.

i'm not sure if those lines are correct but that's what's going through my head.

damn my brain is always switched to gay 80's songs :(

"Smokestack Lightnin' " by Chester Arthur Burnet-AKA the Howlin' Wolf. I watched a documentary on him about two weeks ago-tivo'ed it. Wat ch it in the morning while eating my oatmeal and yogurt. Willie Dixon (that Spoonful) and Hubert Sumlin played with him. Wolf was a good family man and employer - paying unemployment insurance, with holding, and social security.

Most of all - Wolf could sing with soul and deep feelings and blow that harmonica.

Smokestack lightnin'-about steam locomotive trains as metaphor for living hard

Oh, God, mine is "We're Stars," metal's version of "We Are the World." I have no idea why and it scares me to consider the options.

Jump in my car, I wanna take you home.
Jump in my car, it's too far to walk on your own.

    Ladies: No thank you sir.

Ah, come on, I'm a trustworthy guy.

    Ladies: No thank you sir.

Oh little girl I won't tell you no lie.

    Ladies: I know you're gay.

How can you say that, we only just met

And Your Bird Can Sing - Beatles (nice guitar riff, good morning music)

You must be watching the news.

Sometimes I think I might be insane because I ALWAYS have music playing in head; though lots of times it is just a circular riff from one song going round and round.
