When we reffer to this team in the future and try to compare future teams to them, what should we call this team, just the 2007/2008 team They deserve something better. Lets give them some nice name.......
That would be nice. Don't jinx 'em. I don't think you can force a nick. It has to come naturally. Clutch City came as a result of the emergence from the way-too-early Choke City. But I think any nickname this team could possibly garner would come from either the streak, the hustle, or what happens in the playoffs (if the Rockets make it).
Ya know.. if you think about it... we've redefined "Clutch City" this season: We were struggling to get playoff rank. This seasons, the West is one of the tightes races in history. All of a sudden, Yao is out for the season (and postseason) what do we do? CLUTCH TIME Our players step up set team record for consecutive wins set the NBA's record for 2nd-best winning streak climb our way into the top of the West playoff ranks This is Clutch City!
