Conference semis will not start until as late as Tuesday/Wednesday

That is up to 6 days of RUST-accumulating REST

I'm thinking maybe an exhibition game against the Globetrotters on Friday?

I think they will be running full practices.

Today they are probably off but Friday a full practice running our own sets and probably learning ways to combat things that thibs threw at us. Then find out what happens with okc vs Utah.

If Utah wins, Saturday we practice sets we want to run against them. Probably not a full practice but a lot of opponent specific drills. Watch film.

If okc wins, Saturday we run another full practice. Sunday is probably just a shoot around or off day and wait to see who we play.

Monday we run opponent specific drills and watch film. Repeat on Tuesday if game is scheduled Wednesday.

Is that any different from a regular scrimmage? Actually, even our end of bench players are better than globetrotters

If Utah wins Game 6, conference semi will start this Sunday.

I haven't been to a Trotters game in decades, but my kid went recently and he told me that the Trotters are tough to stop when they get the 4-point shot rolling.

    It's just math.

The Spurs and Mavs aren't doing much these days. Maybe we can kick their asses for fun!

The Rockets ARE the Globetrotters. We need an exhibition with the hapless Dallas Mavs playing the role of the hapless Washington Generals.

I just hope someone teaches the team some heart before the next series. Otherwise we're doomed, DOOMED I tell you.

go to strip clubs like never before to get that out of their system so they can focus on winning games.

you can stay ready but you can't stay in rhythm without playing actual games.

only thing you can do is cardio, scrimmage, scout, and get up extra shots.

in other words if you make sure they've got their legs, their shot is falling, and they're prepared on defense... then there won't be many signs of rust. our offense is mostly PnR and iso anyway.

Have the team practice nothing but midrange. Their lives are possibly at stake.

Well, after watching this, I know Harden, Ryno and EGawd's next gig will be.

Ignoring the midrange will kill them vs the Generals

We weren't playing our best basketball anyway, maybe a couple extra days off will be good.

MDA should buy a gallon or two of Rust-Oleum. Problem solved. Hey Mike, if you use my advice and wish to express some gratitude, a couple of lower bowl tickets to one of the games in the next series would be appreciated. Somewhere in the middle, please.

Oh, I forgot. Send a pair Sam's way, OK?

Hopefully Utah wins tomorrow and it's a non-issue. That Sunday afternoon turnaround for them would be brutal.

This team is old. They need all the rest they can get.
