I think this should be a poll:

    • Hold 'em
    • Fold 'em
    • Walk away
    • Run

    He issued an apology today.

Problem was, the apology wasn't directed at the cameraman.

    Step 9 is very important!!!!!!!!!

    Bud Selig is so worthless.

Did Ron Artest get to play in the All-Star game last year? He was averaging 25 and six boards ...

He should be at the all star game, but he shouldn't pitch.

So true...it's like he is just a puppet and has no power no nothing..just basically a little wimp commisioner that no one is scared of. He needs to send a message to the league and he isn't doing it. As long as there is no strong message sent other people will act like fools too.

I brought this up somewhere else and was lambasted with "you can't compare the two! What Artest did was worse!"

It was. It was WAY worse. But Ron Artest was suspended from the NBA, so he couldn't play in the All-Star Game. Kenny Rogers, for whatever reason, is suspended from Major League Baseball. Whether it's a 2-game or 200-game suspension, if it encompasses the All-Star Game, you shouldn't be able to play in it.

Next time he should wait until August to act like a child and needlessly assault two men who are filming him from 50 feet away.

Exactly, you can't compare the two acts but i am sorry Kenny Rogers in a way did something much worse than Artest. Artest attacked people that attacked him. Rogers attacked 2 people that didn't do a thing to him and were doing his job. Im sorry your getting paid millions of dollars to play a game and this is part of your job, getting filmed and getting pictures taken of you and doing interview. It's in the job description in a way.

He is supsended from the game as you said and the All Star game is part of this league he just got suspended from. Sometimes MLB can really be a joke with their policies.

Technically he is not suspended cause he appealed...right?

Selig pushed the appeal hearing till after the All-Star Game.

    I don't get Kenny Rogers...

Obviously this incident was caught on tape... so didn't he attack the wrong camera guy?
