I love seeing our Rockets battle with teams all the way down to the last remaining minutes until i watch how the other teams usually have a go-to play that'll get them a great opportunity to score, meanwhile we begin to look lost on offense and get low-percentage shots or turnovers, quite often. Is there just no potential go-to play for our team? It's frustrating to see us play tough and run a very good offense for just about 46 minutes of the game, only to see us look lost in the final 2 minutes of it.

Is this Lowry/Scola P&R the best go-to play we have? If not, i'm curious to see what some others would recommend the go-to play be. This isn't just because of tonight's game, but we regularly don't have a go-to play and it's beyond tough to win close games without one. I can't even remember the last time we've had a solid go-to play in the past few seasons.

The Rockets had a play they ran last year with Scola and Martin that was effective for them at the end of games.

That PnR play with Lowry and Dalembert where Lowry comes off, Dalembert dives and Scola pops free on the opposite high elbow. With Martin and Parsons as spot-up shooters.

I would have to say Lowry and Scola in a pick and pop, with Dalembert crashing the weakside is our best option.

Down the stretch though tonight, Lowry was not making good decisions when he would drive the lane.

Anything that doesn't involve Martin being on the floor.

I really like Lowry shooting those T-Macesque 3 pointers that are about 2 feet beyond the 3 line.

We do not have a guy that can create his own shot well.

The only one really good at it is Dragic......

At the rate Lowry hits those long, forced 3's, it might as well be that.

He is not good at creating a shot late, other than the 3 ball.

He has no midrange game, it is all to the basket or nothing.

Dragic has the best chance with the ball in his hands for getting a good shot late.

Iso, then lowry either drives (if we need 2) or shoots a three. Simple

Lordy. I hope Jordan Hill doesn't read that, he'll definitely attempt it in our next game haha.
