I want to believe this is real, but even with the "behind the scenes" video, it's hard to believe that legit scientists would pull something like this at work.
A good friend of mine has his PhD in Lasers and sound (honestly don't know the official title). He does crap like this.
Those guys aren't busy enough. I was also surprised how well the victim took it. Because of the severity, I'd call that more of a practical joke than a prank.
I pray to God this will turn out to be like the college humor Prank Wars where they one up each other at every chance they get. Would be better if they were scientist at a nuclear power plant.
almost looks a little fake when hes flying back. I uh, would not have taken it was well as he did to say the least.
I friend of mine Freshman year in college pulled a similar prank. He rigged up a small shaving cream cannon with a couple of fire crackers as accelerant and rigged to a motion sensor. He put it in a guy's bathroom locker to get back for another prank, filling his room almost too the top with newspapers. They guy opens up his locker and FLOOOM!! shaving cream comes shooting out all over the guy. Unfortunately this was long before Youtube. For my friend's ingenuity he got kicked out of the dorm for rigging up an explosive device. FYI my friend was majoring in nuclear physics.
Plus looks like they loaded the cannon with bottles which even though they are plastic aren't that soft. No harm seemed done and the victim took it well. Plus it looks like OSHA and liability regulations are little more lax in Denmark than in the US. Also does anyone else think the bald prankster looks a lot like Rob Corddry?
watch it again. All those plastic bottles fell off a shelf to the left hand side of the screen. Looks like the canon was full of Styrofoam or something.
