What restaurant have you eaten at the most times in your life? Somebody at work asked me this the other day, and it got me thinking.

Growing up, probably a cafeteria-style place in Waco called Piccadilly (now no longer there). However, since then, I would have to say Subway. So my answer would most likely be Subway.

What's the restaurant you've eaten at most in your life?

China Inn Cafe - Katy. I'd venture to guess around 500 times. A couple times twice a day.

    Interesting idea...

Is "eating in" the defining criteria? If not, then it would have to be Subway for me as well. I used to grab a sub to go maybe once a week a few years ago. Have sort of moved away from that lately, though.

I can't think of any one particular place that I have "eaten in" on a regular basis. Perhaps an unnamed family restaurant that my dad used to bring me to all the time as a kid.

I hate to say it but probably frigin McDonalds.. Think about how many times I went as a Kid + how many times I bring my kids. Lets say once a month.. That's a lot of times if you add it up over the 15+ years.

yes! ate there numerous times when i was a kid...wasn't it in lake air mall? or there was something similar there.

that's my best friend's parents favorite restaurant.

if we're excluding fast food, i'd have to say juan in a million in austin. there was a stretch there when i was eating there four-five times a week. if we're including fast food, i have to dodge a punch from moes and say mickey d's.

    Fast Food - Taco Bell
Restaurant - Probably Ninfa's (would have been Marcos if they didn't close down the one in Katy several years/decades ago).

Taco Bell...and it's not even close. The college years...that place kept me alive (somehow).

I didn't know you grew up in Waco, bigtexxx. Ever eat at Schmaltz's??

I GUESS I'd say James Coney. I can remember eating there as a child and now I take my kids there.

Fast food: Chick-Fil-A, when i was in undergrad I had a full scholarship that included a meal plan that allowed me to spend $800 at the various eateries on campus. I ate Chick-Fil-A 3 or 4 times a week for two years. And it was delicious. I guess I ate enough of the grilled chicken sandwiches because I didn't get fat.

As far as sit down restaurants go, I'd probably go with El Chico. It's a dying chain of Tex Mex restaurants based primarily in northeast Texas. El Chico was one of the most popular restaurants in Texarkana (where I grew up), and my family ate there all of the time. Unfortunately, both locations in Texarkana have gone out of business.

In high school, I probably ate at Bennigan's more than any other restaurant. Unfortunately, it too has gone out of business in Texarkana.

I don't eat at sit-down restaurants nearly as much as I use to. Most casual restaurants have priced me out of their market. If you go to a place like TGI Friday's, after tax & tip, it will cost you $13-15 for a burger, fries, and a soda.

I've been eating there weekly for 40 years. Best fried shrimp in the city.

I eat at Capital Grille at least three times a week.

The real answer is Whataburger. Ate there once a week as a freshman, then one or two times a week the rest of the college years.

Sadly, it's become a monthly thing now. I've lost self respect.

We still have Piccadilly where I live, but I've never been that I can recall.

Its hard to say which I've eaten the most. I haven't moved really aside from when I went to college, but my favorite restaurant has changed numerous times. If I had to guess it would be El Sombrero/El Tapatio/Seasons of Japan. It would be Seasons of Japan easily if it was where I live. It was my fave place in college, and started eating it at least 5 times a week.

If I include traditional fast food, it might be BK, Taco Bell, or Chik-fil-a.
