I would say 46-36 considering this long time adjusting to high free motion offense. Also I liked interesting qoute from Shane like "we will be learning well past All-Star break" and it in some way shows you how team is not adapted to this new game, coach and everything. Remember season 04-05?Rockets started bad,McGrady also but with some trades and adaptions managed to finish season like 51-31?! Considering this is longer adaption/ajdust I'll say 46-36 good for 6th,7th seed in Western Conf. Could be worse or better,we'll see. P.S. I guess we're all now dissapointed in this team...
Well, I did expect 58-61 wins, but that was before watching Tmac basically quit on several games. Now...I really don't know. DD
46 wins is a reasonable guess. My main concern is if we can pass the first round. We have a big chance to play Suns or Mavs in the first round.
47-50 would be my guess. if we are .500 and with a new coach and new team, we should improve, but if we don't, our schedule is much easier after the all-star break, so their should be 2 reasons to be improving. having a record over 50 would mean our offense improved alot.
Agree, at some point Adelman will get it together. People are pulling the rip cord alittle to quick on this talented team and usually the masses are wrong. The rockets have the horses to still go on 6 to 10 game win streaks later on in the season once they find some offensive formula and chemistry.
I couldn't agree more. No matter how talented, athletic, gifted, paid you are, you cannot synthesize heart or desire. Tracy is one hell of a scorer, but Hakeem, Jordan, Duncan, Garnett, Yao would NEVER simply quit to save their own interests. I've always wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt; to assume that not only is he gifted, but driven; focused; hungry. I am growing increasingly convinced he will not actualize his full potential. If you can't rise above the crowded marketplace of 'talented' scorers, to prove that you are a winner then you are nothing more than a Marbury. Please, from the bottom of my Rocket-derived soul, prove me wrong Tracy. If not, then you owe me about $5000 for the tickets, beer, memorabilia I've invested in over his tenure here.
I don't know what to expect in the end. However, I do know that after tonight we will be passed by the Blazers in the standings. Thats pretty *ucking pathetic, considering they are a very young team, and our experienced veteran team can't even put the damn ball in the basket.
What the hell, for the sake of predictions.... 52-30 5th seed 1st round- NO Hornets. Rockets win in 6. 2nd round- SA Spurs. Rockets win in 6. WCF- Utah Jazz. Rockets win in 7. Finals: Rockets vs Magic. Win in 4. Book it!
Except the Spurs is the favorite to finish as top seed in WC, there are many teams struggling this year in WC, from the Suns to the Rockets. If the Rockets can stay together and healthy and get their mojo back, it will be capable to finish as 3-4 seeds. 51-31 4th seed.
What offense? He is a player's coach, remember? That means he lets the players do whatever they want, and relies on their creativity. Hell the guy shows up only 1hr before gametime. How can you expect a guy like that to be the man with a plan?
yeah but if you look at the teams that are the top 8 in the west as of right now, which team would you expect to be the odd one out if we are to make it?
