This is not an "I hate the Rockets" thread, its just a chance to get off your chest some of the things that really grind your gears about our beloved Rockets this year.

You know how when Scola does his spin move and the #%*! refs keep call him for travelling when he never picked up his pivot foot?

    That really grinds my gears.

Injuries, Injuries and did I mention Injuries???

Oh yea, also Trev settling for 3s instead of slashing to the hoop and dunking on fools!

Not trying to pile on really, but not finishing a quarter, half or game strong and squandering the lead. This happens all to often with this group

    Yes, yes, YES, and YYEESSS!

The stupid 3's thing really chaps my ass.

Rockets up by 7, Brooks gets a fast break, stops and pops a contested 3 when 2 other Rockets are unguarded under the basket. Brick, turnover, there goes our lead. FFFFFFUUUUUUUUU

The inefficient shooting of Trevor Ariza.

I don't mind bad nights but the guy was brought here to step up his game and play a more significant role.

He shooting, however, is bringing back flashbacks of Rafer's bricking days and Tmac's reckless shooting (e.g. 8-24 FG).

Its got to be the scoring droughts. We have more than capable players, but they make too many dumb plays.

That we're not playing as hard now as we did at the beginning of the year, and that we are letting our "easy" portion of the schedule pass us by without capitalizing.

Our end of quarter, end of half, and end of game offense AND defense is pure and utter crap. They just don't know how to finish strong.

Agreed. When the outcome of the game depends on the last possession and the rockets are on offense, I just KNOW we aren't going to hit a game winning shot.

    Yep.

Watching our guys squander away a 17 point lead while they go 8 minutes without scoring is the ultimate venom.

Watching the team fall apart in the 4th quarter and Coach doesn't change anything.. no time out, no lineup changes, nothing... and then we lose.

Also, the lack of consistent defense all season long.

Ahh the droughts...have to be the single hardest thing to watch in a Rockets game this year. The scoring inefficiencies are simply horrendous and unbearable to view at times. Stagnant.

I would say watching this team not have a decent big who doesn't have glass feet?

Inability to close games and play basic D, like when a player like OJ mayo does the same move over and over and over again no one stops him.

The McLady drama that encompassed our first half of the season.

Losing Landry (although I feel it's for the best)

Having to wait for next year when we will have a starting lineup of:

    Yao
    Scola
    Ariza
    Martin
    Brooks (or Lowery)

and any potential trades that may occur.

    1. The fact that we are still forced to remember Tracy. Its like some people play the role of the friend who won't let you forget that you hooked up with the ugly/crazy chick a while back. We made a mistake........can we forget about it and move on already!

    2. Injuries.....need I say more

    3. Defense or lack there off....our defense has been inconsistent.

    4. Scola being called for traveling when his pivot foot is down. I can understand an occasional mistake, but when you review the footage you can clearly see that the foot is still planted.

    5. Losing Mandry........ :(

    6. Jared Jefferies

    7. Losing close games to inferior teams.

    etc.
