What radio station do you listen to on the way to work/at work?

    I get in the car alittle before 6:00 so I only catch the early parts of all the radio shows... I flip between Mix 96.5, 610 and 790 (Mike and Mike)

    I like MIX, but I too many commercials for my taste

    I really like MIKE AND MIKE, but very little air time VS. when I watch them on ESPN durring getting ready..

    I cant stand the 610 guys.. I tend to pickup on peoples manorisms and disfluencies very quickly and thats why I cant stand them... about every 2 mins or so one of the two guys always sounds like he is kicking back HUGE loogies or just ate a huge breakfast and has gas or clears his throat... it really pisses me off cause its all I think about and wonder how he can stay on the radio doing crap like that..

    610...of course my commute is all of about 3 minutes. but i listen to Lance & John at work in the morning...then turn on music until about 3 when I pick up the afternoon guys on 610.

    Mix 96.5?

    C'mon, if you're going to listen to the same five songs every day, at least listen to the same five cool 80's songs on 106.9

    [thread derailment]Does anybody else get a little pissed at Rock 97.5? They're supposed to be the rock station that doesn't have Clear Channel looking over their shoulder all the time, yet they play edited versions of songs. For example, in Janie's Got a Gun, the line that says "she put a bullet in his brain" is changed to "she left him in the pouring rain"...

    Of course, this is the same station that airs a morning show where the host will say "p***y" and "titty" five times a day, but they can't play an unedited song about a girl killing her abusive father...makes sense to me[/thread derailment]

    I only like the talkshow part, I switch to other stations durring the music.. when I get to work it's all CDs or Mp3s for me..

    610 in the morning :mad:

    I flip between 610 and 790 in the afternoon.

    I am tired of John and Lance too. Especially Lance and his giggling. I never cared for people that laugh at their own jokes. Lance's material is stale.

    I wish they would move Wexler and Lord to the morning. Dump "The Voice" and move John and Lance to the afternoon, so I can listen to 790.

    But that's just me.

    Since my commute is 10 seconds to my desk, I don't listen to anything on my way to and from. :)

    I listen to 610 in the morning, generally, Sirius throughout the day and usually Palillo on 790 in the afternoons.

    For some reason, I don't like to hear talk in the morning. I'm not a morning person. I wish they would just play music.

    I switch between a local station that is at least independent, but plays a lot of unbearable 70's wuss songs in addition to everything else, and the Clear Channel (evil, I know) equivalent of Mix 96.5. As long as I'm in the car, I can pick that one up from San Antonio. At work, given the nature of my job, I can't listen to music that much, but when I do, I usually use my own CDs. Sirius would be great, but I probably shouldn't budget for it.

    KPFT if I'm on time in the morning.
    KTRH if I am running late or need to keep up with traffic problems.
    610 or CDs on the way home.
    KTSU every Friday on the way home.

    I listen to 610 if the local hosts are on and they are talking about something interesting..
    I also try to listen to 97.5 but the reception sucks so I switch to 94.5 and 104.1 sometimes...

    610am - John and Lance can get annoying at times but I think they are good together.

    Matt Jackson is slowly becoming my favorite 610 reporter. His sarcasm and constant trash talking of the Mavs is making me a fan.

    Since the radio sucks in College Station...

    I don't listen to it anymore. It's the same crap over and over.

    I play my MP3 cds in my truck when I drive.
