Seems like more and more people are willing to give Mac OS a chance. I personally don't feel the need to spend more money on a mac to use their OS.

Yes I know mac and pcs cost the same when they are equipped with the same thing. But what's different is a baseline mac costs way too dang much. There's not enough options with apple if you are on a budget.
    Mac Mini - lol seriously
    Mac Pro - $2500???
iMac - I don't want to buy a screen or be stuck to one screen
Macbook - Only decent option but I already have a laptop

On the other hand, I haven't heard much good about Vista. So just stuck using xp since 2001.

So what do you all use?

I use Mac OS 10.4. Switched when I got a MacBook for college two years ago, never looked back. Even got my friends and family to switch from the dark side hahaha.

I use Tiger and I love it. It is so much easier to use than XP. I'm going to wait a little to get Leopard.

Any of you guys waited in line at the Galleria on Friday for the Leopard? That line was LOOONNGG and it was filled with those WoW type of geeks that could figure out my IP address just by looking at me and giving me a virus that same minute. My friend was actually second in line, he was there from 3:30 and the store opened at 6.

I don't understand why people can't just wait a bit or just order online. I guess I just don't see the need to buy a product, whatever it may be, the second it comes out.

I've been using the Mac OS for all of about two months now.

I honestly don't see a reason I'd go back to Windows anytime soon.

I may build myself a gaming PC sometime in the future (this is the only real negative area for OS X imo), but to be honest since I have been playing consoles more for the last few years I'm in no rush.

Now that I've done it myself, I feel that many people would be pretty happy with OS X if they were to give it a shot.

    Mac Power. 

I converted in high school, and I'm never going back. I spent too much time at my last job repairing problems with crappy Microsoft products to leave Apple.

Same here man. It just feels weird for me to go to mac after growing up on a windows. I have other friends who feel the same way.. however I think Mac is gonna be the mainstream in a couple more years.

I do enjoy playing these games on a windows.

I have two machines with XP. Considering getting rid of the older one that keep in front of the tv and replacing it with a Macbook.

I just want a little computer to screw around with in the den - are there any real advantages to getting a 15" over the 13" for straight internet surfing in front of the tv? Anybody have a 13" Macbook and wish they'd gotten one with a bigger screen?
