Most fans, like myself were very skeptical about our new Manager. Now we know that Mr. Morey should be known as Wizard Morey!! We all knew that the Rockets had little of value to trade with and even smaller cap space and expected Morey to follow in the long line of former Managers and bring us scrubs and over the hill players, all on the cheap of course! Well I am please to say that my opinion has certainly changed and congratulate him on his Draft Picks and the trades which he has made. I am wondering what will Wizard Morrey pull out of his sleeve next? What surprise has he instore for us Fans.......
Great way to describe him. He needs to be bad mouthed,seems like he works at his best when you think he has nothing going on and everything seems bleek.He'll pull something but I think praise and doration for him is his weakness.
Wow. This is an impressive feat for a GM on this board. However, I won't be truly impressed until Hillboy authors a thread like this.
I think he'll be next in line. He at least always has a plan and sticks to it. Purpura on the other hand...
WoW alot of positives for our new GM!!! Me personally I'm neutral and all we have are unproven NBA players joining our roster (except M. James ) ... The only thing that made me happy was us not paying J. Howard.
I almost always referred to the Rockets GMs this way. Carroll Dawson -> CD Darryl Morey -> DVD (since he was the successor of CD) It probably won't make sense to many people, but it made sense to me and a couple of friends. Heck, if he pulls off any more brilliant moves this offseason, I will start calling him Blu-Ray.
