Just as a diversion so to speak. . .

But what Laws would you like to see put into action?
Let's say you was just elected to Congress
    What would be your priorities?
What would you like to see change or improved?

decriminalize mar1juana - people shouldnt go to jail for smoking a joint.

elimination of the death penalty in favor of life without parole and a lifetime of hard labor, working for the state and paying back your debt to society. innocent people have been killed by the death penalty. thats a fact and its unacceptable.

life without parole for all murderers, rapists and child molesters.

regarding abortion, im pro-life but i think its sad that many in my camp are against requiring parental consent for minors. its no different than the NRA loonies who fight tooth and nail against anything regarded as infringing upon their rights to bear arms, like mandatory waiting periods.
you cant get a freaking tattoo if your under 18 w/out parental consent. you shouldnt be able to get an abortion either (w/out parental consent). if i was a parent i would absolutely want to know if my child was pregnant and considering something as serious as an abortion.

Why Marijuane. . .why stop there?

    In your Opinion
Are there the three most heinous acts a human can do?

    I agree 100%
it is ridiculous. . . that we have government agencies
    or any agency
keeping secrets from parents about their kids
I thought the plan was the help parents be better informed
    about their kids
we often critisize parents for not being firm
enough . .for being too friendly with their kids
and be more Parental . ..well the Govt needs this too

I would like a law to require a balanced budget, except for emergencies, and a requirement that entitlement programs retain the funds they have coming in and not be raided by the Federal government to blow on the pet projects and tax cuts of Congress and the President. Had we been doing this for the last several years our financial house would be in much better order. We wouldn't, and our grandchildren wouldn't, be paying a large percentage of the dollars going into the treasury on interest for the national debt. Bush will have doubled, doubled that national debt by the time he's out of office. That should not have been allowed to happen.

I would like going to war to require a formal declaration of war, giving the reasons for it, and passed by Congress before we go to war. That is supposed to be required, and seems to be shunted aside since Korea. It might have required a bit more reflection from Congress before going on Bush's mad adventure in Iraq. War is a deadly, serious business, and always has unintended consequences, as we've found out many times, and as we've discovered, to the Administration's, and the nation's dismay in Iraq.. If we are attacked, you respond instantly, and rightly so, and that should be quickly followed by a congressional declaration of war.

There are several more, but I'll stop there.

I would enact measures to improve road qualities throughout the United States. It might cost a lot at first, but it would allow for a better driving experience overall.

I would make stricter controls on illegal immigration and make it a felony to hire any group that is not in the country legally.

I would make the national gaurd strictly domestic.

I would lower the age of emancipation to 16.

I would cap lawsuits that give the lawyer more than 15% of what the plantiff wins. I am sick of class action law suits where the lawyer gets millions and the people affected gets dollars.

    You can start with...

    1) elimination/abolition of fiat currency and the Fed Reserve Banking Corporation

    2) bestowing only Congress with the authority to declare war

    3) mandatory 100% public financing of all elections

(actually the 1st two are already part of the Constitution as written by the Country's Founding Fathers, but were simply side-stepped by Amendment)

to each their own. if you want to do heroin thats your buisness but i differentiate b/t mar1juana and "hard" drugs like cocaine and heroin, which actually kill people.

on an individual scale - yes. of course guys like stalin and hitler win in the heinous act department. but thats on a much larger scale. as far as heinous acts that a single human does to another, i cant think of much worse.

One, single flat rate tax for everyone that resides in the United States. there are too many changes year to year and way too many BS tax breaks for people and groups who don't need it.

Because mar1juana is no more intoxicating or harmful than alcohol. It is far less addictive. Why is alcohol legal but mar1juana isn't?

Drugs such as cocaine, opiates, methampehtamine, etc can be physically addictive and deadly. Anyone that thinks mar1juana is in the same class as those drugs (not saying you do) is uneducated on the subject. That's why you stop there.

    1) Decriminalize mar1juana
    2) Mandatory 2 year millitary service for all 18yr olds. Or some sort of social service.
    3) Some sort of Universal health care.
    5) No pork projects
    6) Revamping of education system
    7) Mandatory voting for 18 - 25 year olds.

..... and lindsey lohan getting back to her original wieght.

most 18-25 year olds can barely take care of themselves ... i surely wouldn't want them forced to vote. I personally think one should write a short essay on why they voted for their canadite instead of "because my mommy and daddy were republicans"

    -Raise the sin taxes
-Less severe punishment for mar1juana ... both for dealers and abusers
-More severe punishment for all other drugs dealers, less for abusers
-$300.00 fine for throwing cigeratte butts on public property
