Granted Yao hasn't full developed and probably won't fully develop for a few seasons, but what kind of game do you think Yao will be most compared to. I personally see him as a bigger, stronger version of Tim Duncan in the near future. Both have a very similar game in terms of fundamentals. Both are excellent passers, have good shooting range, can block shots, and are extremely fundamentally sound. I think Duncan's game is the perfect equalizer to Shaq's, just he's not as big of a guy to handle Shaq defensively. Yao is or will be big enough in near future to handle Shaq defensively and has the offensive game to make Shaq work on defense oppose to just clogging up the paint. Anyhow what are your thoughts? Who do you think Yao will be most like?

    Shawn Bradley's height + Rik Smits' J + Kareen's hook + Hakeen's shake + Shaq's attitude + Russell's D + Walton's vision + Sabonis' pass + ... Jordan's heart

Cheesy enough, but if he gets half of those, he's gonna be a top 3 center of all time.

Please don't overhype our own player. I don't think Yao's compared to any of those greats yet.

BTW, you don't change the game of basketball if you're only the second coming of who and who. :D

At this point in time........ potential /growth/ improvement is more appropriate that greatness/championshjips. In time, Yao will emerge.. as the ONE setting the benchmark of excellence.....
