A degree in Nutritional Sciences from UT Austin.
Two year experience working for 24 Hour Fitness, one year as a Membership Manager.
    Best strength is his salesmanship.
Doesn't want to go back to school, can't work for a hospital without a license that takes a year.

His salary expectations is $45,000 and up.

What can he get himself into?

    Thanks CF.

There are a lot of companies that do the cafeteria food for schools. Have him check into that, he could probably at least make manager of a kitchen and if he is any good, work his way up in the company.

Some large corporate campuses and hospitals have cafeterias; maybe he can help manage those. Otherwise I think he should go back to 24Hr and try for their management training program now that he's got a degree; and keep hush hush about trying to get the certification.

Best case scenario 'blow', worst case 'hand'.

Since he was a science major and took a bunch of Chemistry and Biology classes, he could apply for a job as a Criminalist or a Laboratory Technician, which have some relation to his major and should fit his salary expectations.

My buddy Jonathan Salvador tells me that it's not difficult to get a job in Texas as a lab tech (http://www.texasobserver.org/fake-lab-results-endanger-thousands-of-drug-convictions/)

Tell him to apply at a home health company that provides enteral nutrition services as a sales rep. They can easily make over $75k and up.

Also a durable medical equipment company that does enteral nutrition, which almost all of them do.

Glad I could help. I worked in the field for over 10 years on the DME side, let me know if he has any questions.

On top of this, plenty of large companies have health and wellness departments. For example, Chevron has a cardiovascular department that rolls out nutrition guides as well as general exercise advice.
