We have two directions we can go in with this draft. We can get solid improvement and a place in the 2003 playoffs with no risk - or we can go high risk and perhaps get on the road to a championship caliber team. I think your choice comes down to what kind of fan you are. Personally, I like to go for broke.
with ming as a bust we wil still make the playoffs. with him as a gem we will compete for homecourt. so i trust cd on the risk. on the other hand i would like to trade the pick for a superstar sf (i.e. odom, jamison, marion) in order to make the playoffs in 2003.
