I play basketball in the Nike Futuristics, and they're pretty comfortable. Do yall play in any other cool shoes and what do you think the best brand of shoes is? I think Nike, but I could be wrong.
I just bought a pair of Nike Air Max Barkley's from like 1993. I think they're pretty good. I would have to say that Nike's and And 1 shoes are best for basketball. I don't care for Addidas and Reebok too much, except for the Iverson collection.
As soon as I clicked on the thread, the first thing that came to mind was "Who's gonna say 'Chuck Taylors'"? You guys are getting too damn predictable.
If I could, I would play barefooted. I think I get more hops being barefooted. I like my feet looking sexy. I don't need it to be all calloused up and nasty grotesque.
"ball in?" Man, I haven't played hoops in so long...sniff. My knees just can't take it anymore. You young kids just don't know what it's like... os
I ball in Nike Zoom Flight Turbines on special occasions/big events/ fridays and on regular days I ball in Nike Flightposite KGs. Both are very comfortable but the Zoom's are waaaaaay more slick, quick, and to the court they reallllly stick!
Reebok X-Beam - The Steve Francis shoes from last season. http://bbs.clutchcity.net/php3/showthread.php?s=&threadid=30586&highlight=reebok Pretty sweet shoes. Some of the pieces on the bottom have come off on two different pairs, that's my only complaint.
Sonny, So the new pair held up better than the old pair, eh? My little bro' just bought a pair of these and I told him not to play in them unless he wants to mess up his feet/legs/knees. Granted, my advice was based solely on info from kicksology.net, as I have no personal experience with the shoes. As for myself, I've been wearing the Adidas Mad Handles: Just like kicksology said, they were a pretty good value; I even got'em on sale. But kicksology also said that the cushioning might not last very long, as I found out for myself recently with some really bad, really painful shin splints. So now while I recover I'm shopping for some new shoes before I can start ballin again. I tried on those Nike Zoom Air Turbines. They felt awesome, but they're so damn ugly , I couldn't go through with buying them.
Here's my shoes' pictures and they're in their color that I have em in: Nike Air Flightposite KGs Nike Zoom Flight Turbines
I wear Adidas The Kobe. Hey're a couple of years old now, but they fit my foot shape... of course, I like their look in mesh too! I've also got a pair of AI's Reebok Answer IV's, and they're pretty damn comfortable...
I had a pair last year but they didn't work out so well for me. I guess it just depends on the person.
