Besides money and people you love, name the top 3 things thats is most valuable/important to you that you have in your house or things you can't leave the house without it? For me... 1. My driver's License- Almost everything you need to do away from home requires one these days. 2. Jewlry given to me from my parents and love ones. 3. My $200 eye glasses- I can't live without it, I'd be blind without it and I wear it 24-7. Shower and bedtimes are the only exception.
1. My kid 2. My wife 3. My parents but seriously ............... 1. My laptop - my whole work and personal life revolves around it ..last summer, I lost my hard drive and about 4-5 years worth of data, emails, etc .......i was sick for days 2. My car - I drive 40K miles a year ......without it, i don't make a living 3. My Discover card - Use it for everything. EVERYTHING. In fact, I wont buy stuff from someone unless they take Discover .....Im up to $760 on cash back in the last calendar year and have yet to pay them 1 cent in interest
1. My dads firefighter helmet and a hand written recipe from my dad. 2. My mothers wedding ring. 3. All the photographs of my kids and things that they have written/drawn for me.
If there is a fire, I grab 1. Lucky Blue Marble 2. My valuable paintings 3. My baseball cards Luckily my writing is backed up on a network so I wouldn't need my lappie top.
Non-monetary : My memories (but then I guess I have no choice with that one) Monetary : 1) Investments 2) House 3) Car How boring.
Comes a fire, I grab: My dog My Klipsh Forte II's My Shun Kitchen Knife (unlike the other two, insurance could replace this one.....but I've got the blade just where I want it)
I'm talking stuff not people, we all know people should be first and I'm going by what means the most in terms of value in my life not emotional attachment also not whats worth the most.. 1. My TIVO (I love my TV shows)-Sad, but true 2. Automatic water sprinkler (moving a hose around all day pisses me off) 3. A/C I love a good cold house/car ( I would go nuts in a hot house) things that didnt make the list My dirt bike (fun, but I could live without it) Cigar collection (good hobby, but a total waste of money) Computers (so much time spent on them) This website (see above)
But seriously I'm going to follow Da-Glyde and say 1. DVR 2. My House 3. The automatic sprinkler as well Da-Glyde - You da man!!!
1. My 1954 Gretsch Electromatic 2. My 1983 blonde Fender American Standard Telecaster 3. My 2005 Epiphone Zephyr Blues Deluxe
Cats are people, so I don't have to put them on the list. Anyway, in terms of not easily replaced: 1. My purse. Very conveniently, at this moment it happens to contain my driver's license, credit card, debit card, cell phone, and jump drive. They all get to count as one object. 2. My truck. Not getting very far without that... 3. I would say my laptop, but it really belongs to my employer anyway... so my keyboard. (the musical kind, not the computer kind)
1. Wallet (with licences, bank card, etc..) 2. Computer, I suppose 3. A folder containing various certificates (ie: degrees, etc..)
