This is not a trade idea thread, this is for everyone to post before the trade deadline exactly what you think will go down, if anything at all. I think it would be fun to guage what everyone is guessing will happen and to see who ends up being correct. What's your prediction?
finally a good thread. tmac for expirings(hughes/mobley) + 2nd round pick via NY nothing else. we tank by playing dorsey and cook and conroy., season is a wash once lowry went down and teams figured us out. morey going for a top 10 pick .
With respect to Tracey, nothing! Everyone wants an expiring to take of the books but they don't want to give up their star player for that. Morey will realize that it is best to let tracey expire than trade him for a couple average/slightly above average players. That will not take us to the championship.
Happy Bday to your mom Basketball related, Rox will deal with the Wiz or Sixers but it will be before the deadline day. Butler or Iggy will be our starting SG and Haywood or Sammy will be our starting center.
We get a bunch of expiring contracts for our assets, then let them and Tmac expire and sign either Lebron, Wade, or 2 star players in the offseason.
I'm trying to understand this, its only been 1 game since he went out so how does Lowry's minor injury give any clue to the season being a wash and I doubt that we'll see dorsey, cook, and conroy all get playing time. It seems that Morey is doing what everyone thinks he is which is waiting for the best offer, and he probably does have a plan if one doesn't pan out, I also doubt that plan features tanking to get a top 10 pick.
I think a buy out will occur, that way he can use t-mac's cap relief to focus on re-signing scola, lowry and landry.
I predict that there won't be a T-Mac deal. Just a gut feeling. There will be a deal though, in Morey's short term as a gm, he has always made a deal.
we won't trade with anyone because we are content with our young guys around yao and someone we can add in free agency, so tmac will talk to dm and and coach and they will agree to let him come back to the team for the sake of his career, from there i have not decided if he does amazing or rarely sees minutes : /
At this point my feeling is that 99% chance that TMac will NOT be traded (or bought out). I do think someone will be traded and my feeling is that it will be Scola.
Since this isn't a trade thread, I believe that the Rockets will go .500 or worse from now until Feb 18th, and we will not trade Tmac.

Houston gets: Ray Allen, Andre Igoudala Boston gets: Shane Battier, Samuel Dalembert Philadelphia gets: Tracy McGrady If Morey's really good then he can pry Speights from Philly while he's at it. I'm not proposing this as an idea, I actually think it's quite possibly going to happen...call me crazy.
its gonna be something out of the blue. morey never lets any info leak which means everything we are hearing is a smoke screen. i think the rockets will revisit their pursuit of amare stoudamire. stoudamire and richardson for tmac, ariza, and cook
