What is your pet name for your girlfriend/significant other?

Don't have a significant other. But if I have forgotten the name of the girl I'm talking to, I always say 'babe'. So I guess that's mine.

 

When my wife and I were dating, she complained that I never called anything besides her name. Now, I use a bunch of different ones. It is so subconscious at this point, I don't think I could name them.

 

I call my wife Sucka or Fool(foo). It is something I picked up from the students I teach who would call each other foo all the time. I thought it was funny and started calling my wife that.

She calls me that as well now.

 

I call my wife Bean. It's weird how this came to be because I was called Bean after I went to a Bar-B-Que with some friends and I was the only one their who wanted any Beans.

Years later I met my wife and she became Bean and it just stuck.

 

You know its funny when you get into a serious relationship you almost NEVER call each other by your real name. And when you do it's probably because you're pissed at each other...or you're trying to get their attention in a crowd.

 

I kinda call all my female friends sweetie including the girl I'm dating.

 

i called my ex bubbles, pretty self-exlplainatory and maybe the reason she is my ex

 

I frequently use (and like to randomize to avoid repetition) the following with my girlfriend:

-babe
-princess
-sweetie
-sexy
-sunset
-love
-wonderful

I think that's all, though there might be some others.

I call her by her name, the one she uses, which is an nickname of her real name, if that makes any sense. A contraction of her full name? Whatever. I call her other things, of course, but not often enough to qualify as a pet name. There is a particular part of her body I have a rare affection for, but I digress.

 

I call her lucky...

lucky to have a man like me.

 

I usually call Tara sweetie, but lately, it's been Mamalicious Bootie McButter.

 

My girlfriend is a teacher, so I call her TILF.
