What is your favorite highway in Texas? My favorite highway so far was probably State Highway 45 Toll in Austin because it has great sceneric. I know its toll highway but its an empty highway and a lot of beautiful grass. It's a quiet toll. What about you guys?
Texas State Highway 165 through Texas State Cemetery in East Austin. the highway was designed around the cemetery in 1932. at .9 miles, it is the second shortest Highway in the State. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Texas_State_Highway_165
Don't have a favorite but I love Stack City! I do appreciate the skyline view on 288. Starts at 3:50. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/-8m0ZedXPj4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Also can't forget the view from 59, starts at 4:14. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/Hj1zHJt4Rj8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Hwy 149 between Montgomery and Anderson. Beautiful drive through the national forest on a fun road to drive briskly. Just watch out for bikers (motor and people driven).
I-10 West back to my home from work. Best feeling ever. Blunts, 2 16 OZ, lots of cussing at slow people, drifting the 610 West to 45 south exit...I am brah,
Three sisters is a friggin' blast. Those motorcycles that shoot by like an F-16 can literally scare the **** out of you.
I live near 360 and 2222 so every time I drive anywhere I have to take one of those roads. Sometimes I have to remind myself how pretty the drive is in this part of town. I still love driving over the lake on the 360 bridge unless it's in traffic. That sucks.
