The ones that makes you laugh all the way through. The ones that, no matter what kind of mood you're in, you laugh.

The Pink Panther movies with Peter Sellers are at the top of my list as are all the Monty Python movies.

I know there are some others I am forgetting. When I remember them I will post them.

So what are your favorite Comedy Movies?

This is absolutely one of my fav all time movies. The only movie I have ever enjoyed a NCage performance.

I am in full agreement with I2K's list, with the exception of Spinal Tap, which I have never seen.

Blazzing Saddles and Space Balls would be on my list too.

I forgot about Vacation (the original)! That would be in my top 5 for sure. Every single scene in that movie is memorable. Chevy Chase at his best.

Hmmm. All my favorites seem to have original Not Ready For Prime Time Players in them. Go figure.

    Airplane!

That movie is still every bit as funny today as when I first saw it.

This might be the next classic: (funniest non-animated tv show ever)

The Hollywood Reporter reports that the former TV show "Strangers with Candy," which aired on the Comedy Central network, may resurface again through a big-screen movie, with series creator Amy Sedaris once again reprising her role as Jerri Blank. Sedaris' character was a 46-year old former drug addict that enrolls in high school again.

Sedaris will team up with series creators Paul Dinello and Stephen Colbert to pen the script. Although the trio is in the early stages of scripting, producers hope to have it ready for a fall start.

    Any Kevin Smith movie.

Btw, this is out of the subject, I did another DVD list collection on Guzzlefish and notice that almost 50% of my DVDs are comedies. :D
