I thought about putting this in the D&D...but screw that...we can do this here, right? D&D will just turn this into "my moral issue is more important than yours." no?

My biggest moral issue is taking care of dogs. Before I moved to Boulder, I had a daily walk through The Heights to refill all the water dishes for the leashed guard dogs at the local car mechanics shops and scrap yards. Those dogs on short leashes 24X7 appear mean, but they aren't. They love you.

I wish my most moral issue was Jesus. But apparently I'm not doing it right...focused more on others. But maybe that's ok? not really though, and I know it.

i wish my biggest moral issue was whether to keep my mistress jennifer love hewitt or stay faithful to my wife beyonce. or the reverse, whoever marries me first.

My biggest moral issue choosing between ham sandwich with pizza cheeze packets or top ramen with ketchup.

I'm watching Jessica Alba right now.

don't see where ramen and ketchup fits in with that. but i'm not going to argue.

guys, actually...i just remembered my biggest "moral issue" is to not have moral issues...meaning, let everyone be....

I know there are a lot of people here who don't like moral issues...me being one.

but is that right? don't people force you to take a stance? are you just apathetic? like you are not worthy of an opinion...if you don't have one.

can I walk your dog for you?

I haven't seen my dog in weeks. Hope he's doing fine.

There are times when I participate in groupthink, just go with the flow. If don't like where it's headed I break off and do my own thing. Not being attached to money helps a lot in not taking stands. Help people with time and donations? Sure. Jump deeper into an unknown commitment? I'll back to you on that.

The average person likely has moral issues whether they admit them or not, but will the majority stand up or stick their neck out for them? I don't have a great conclusion for that. Safe is usually better.

I like observing and seeing others reactions. Not sure how I'll react when I've seen enough.

I struggle with the idea of having a lot. My parents are very well-off and conservative and have always wanted me to eventually be successful and have a high-paying job, a big house, and all the little things they gave me growing up. I know having that stuff won't make me happy, but it would make my parents happy. If I was never financially successful, they would be sad. I know it's not up to me to make them happy, but I feel that pressure sometimes. I look at Jesus the person and I see someone who is so selfless and loving, who didn't have much but lived to serve others. Life is so damn short, and that's what I wish to do with mine...or do I? I want the courage to be able to release anything I cling to and find fulfillment in God and loving other people. I don't have too much courage.

Why are you so thought provoking, heyp? :]

my biggest moral issue is not cheating on women. I wish I could cheat. Or at least have that disconnect that some people have where they don't care about what they do to their significant other. I tend to care a little too much and I get the short end of the stick usually.

Some sort of cleverly disguised continuation of that other thread??
    Slight references popping up?

    finalsbound,

you pretty much described my mom. let me tell you a story, I worked my way through Rice at Kahn's Deli. I had job offers at software companies before I graduated. But I wanted to work in restaurants. I got offerred by the owner The Gingerman to run the Brewery Tap downtown and set up the entire kitchen and lunch service for all of downtown.

My mom did not want me to do that, so I didn't. Bob Precious of the Gingerman proceded to open 5 more bars in Dallas, Austin and New York City. And he offerred me to essentially be his Houston manager based on him liking me from seeing me run Kahn's Deli.

I forever regret that decision based on doing what my rich mom wanted...to be a Voltaire bourgeois.

but you know, in the end, it is never bad to side with your mom.

yes this is a continuation of the Vegetarian thread. Apps provoked me to think about moral issues....just want to see what other ppl think about their own moral stuff.

if you are talking about another thread...look at the timestamps. i found the "heypartner:..." thread via this one.

Top Ramen with hot sauce could be interesting; but with ketchup it sounds horrific.

I struggle with the idea of having a lot.. while having absolutely nothing..
