They are playing some good basketball. It may not be pretty but they are winning. They have a 3 game win streak, you think they can continue to win or will they go back to there old ways soon?
Really! How in the hell are they winning games? I think an early candidate for Coach of the Year has to be the Denver coach. He has his players drinking the Kool-Aid. They aren't scoring on people but it seems they are playing tremendous defense and hustling for 48 minutes. Just goes to show if you do that you can win games no matter how crappy your offense is. Wouldn't it be great if the Rockets could win 3 games in a row? Chris
Bzdelik was an assistant under Riley. They really do play like the Van Gundy Knicks. All they need is a good player to rely on on offense and they'll be in the playoffs.
I hope Lebron James goes to Miami or New York. All the other teams like Grizzlies or Cavs would not be a good place to play.
Thanks for the info, did not know that. But it does not surprise me then seeing as how they are playing. Hey, they will have enough money to get 2 max players next year so who knows? I read an article on ESPN Insider a week or so ago saying they are targeting KandiMan and were joking saying if you come here you can pick who else you want to be signed. Kinda funny but maybe not too far off! Chris
Strangely enough, unless Memphis gets the #1 pick, they lose it. Technically they're in the Lebron-a-Thon, but not really. I have wondered the same thing lately about the Nuggets. Obviously some of these clowns didn't get the memo: you're supposed to suck. Probably Juwan Howard will go on IR today. If that doesn't do the trick, add Maybiner Hilario and whomever else.
The Nugs just scored 3 points...in the first quarter. Yes folks, a total of 3 points in the first quarter against the Spurs. Wow.
I mean why did they play the same team two game in a row? When was the last time that happened in the NBA?
3 points in the first quarter, that's called payback. That's called beating a championship caliber club, ticking them off, and then getting an @ss-whipping. It's no different then real life, if you're a small guy and you win a fight against a 300 point man with a low blow and scrappy tactics people rave about you. But the next day you run into that big guy one-on-one in a fair fight and he just hands you your @ss. That's what happened, Denver scrapped a win against the 300 point man and the 300 pound man just lowered the boom on him.
