I have not seen Calvin and Bill in months on NBA League Pass on my DirecTV. In the last several years they have been doing a good balance of home and away announcers but now it's 100% away announcers. It totally sucks!! Are Calvin and Bill banned from league pass? Did Calvin's pimpin' suits drive them away? Discuss...
From what I've gathered, NBA League Pass prefers to shows games that are televised on the local fox sports networks. I don't believe there are any Rockets games televised on Fox Sports. Basically, I think it has something to do with the channel that televises the Rockets.
We've been missing them all season too! Only had 2 games from Calvin and Bill. I'm thinking about connecting my laptop to the stereo...is Gene Peterson on the web cast?
At the beginning of the season when the Rockets were deciding who would broadcast the games was when the paperwork had to be turned in to league pass to get approved for the year and the Houson station was late. So we are stuck with the opposing announcers all year. I do miss Calvin and Bill, but it is better then not seeing the game at all.
I posted this a few days ago and I'm very upset about it. I also can't believe that I had to miss such an incredible game tonight, as it was on NBA TV which is being covered up by the NBA previews.
