I am trying to plan out what to do in LA, but I am not sure exactly what is there to do other than the obvious like Hollywood, Disney Land, Universal Studios, etc. I was wondering what are some fun things (cheap or expensive) to do there?
The first thing you need to do is go straight to a tanning bed, then get a nose job, and then go buy a Porsche. After that, i'm sure you'll figure it out.
Rent a bike at santa monica beach and ride down the boardwalk to venice beach and beyond. There's lots to do on the cheap in LA....except live there .
One place where you will be spending many many hours whether you want to or not: the Freeway. It's inevitable, it's huge, it's the biggest pain in the ass. Have fun.
there are plenty of things to do something that would be neat to do is try to get tickets for the tonight show or jimmy kimmel live. another thing is to drive or walk down hollywood blvd or the sunset strip. the pike at long beach is a great place to get dinner with a friend or spouse mooning laker fans is another thing to do when bored or not bored actually.
Poker rooms? LA is ok....lots of good Sushi, some decent Dim sum and plenty of pretty people. Very pretentious though. DD
If you are into trying ethnic foods, LA is awesome. Check out Counter Intelligence for some ideas. For some free fun, consider attending some TV tapings. They always have movie premiers in Westwood, so check out the theaters there to see if anything big is opening. For poker rooms, commerce casino is the best and the only one I recommend. Don't go to Hustler's. That name is misleading, there ain't no p*rn stars working there.
Are you black? If so, you can try ramming a cop and then taking them (and us, the viewers that is) on a nice high-speed chase. However, before you do this, make sure to have a banner over your car that reads "Clutchfans.net" so we know it's you. Also, when the cops pull you out of the car and beat the **** out of you, have a photographer at the scene taking pictures, because you might make a few millions and in retrospect it will be worth your while.
