In tribute to hearing this song on the radio whilst in my automobile today, I start this thread: which is the worst, most horribly planned and executed, completely lacking in redeeming qualities, song you personally love...? My personal favorite is "Stranglehold" by Ted Nugent. I hate Nugent. I hate his shtick and most of his politics and his stringy wino hair. I hate 70s **** rock. But this song always reminds me of very pleasant times and in doing so always makes me crack up. I mean the song's so stupid, Paul Stanley laughs at the lyrics and Carlos Santana sneers at the guitar playing. Ashlee Simpson should cover it, that's how bad it is. Just pure cheese and yet I love it.
"Here I go again" -- Whitesnake. Super cheesy, but when you blare it from your spearkers it . . . just . . . feels . . . good.
When I was a kid thought that real hard rock was Jesse's girl by Springfiled and Too Much Time on my hands by Stynx. I would air guitar to these songs and everything. Really pathetic actually.
I'll go with "Crazy Horses" by the Osmands, or "Muskrat Love" by the Captain and Tenneille. Horrible cheese that I consume with pleasure!
It is with the GREATEST shame imaginable that I must admit that this Buzzcock, New York Dolls, Replacements, Bad Religion loving fool now likes the Carpenters........ How the F*** did this happen to me and why do I deserve it? I feel as if some cruel twist of fate as been perpetrated upon me, and I don't like it - not one bit.
