The weirdest dream that I've had is a recurring one and is said to be the most common: flying. Here I am, walking down the street and with a thought I'd soar into the air. Sometimes I would hang-time for like half a city block or something. Usually I'd have to really concentrate to stop flying. My mother says that my father used to dream of flying, mostly on the run from danger. My dream flights are just fun and liberating.
the other night, i had a dream that the sniper shot me. Quick summary: My house is in a wooded area. So, in my dream, there is a party at my house. Everyone is either outside or upstairs having a great time. The phone rings, and its the police telling me that the sniper is loose in the wooded area outside my house. So, i grap a gun (dont know how i got it) and I go outside to tell everyone to come inside. While Im outside, I look into the woods and I notice something, but its kinda far away. I rush everyone in and lock the doors. I then go upstairs to close the curtains on my balcony. As soon as I go to close the curtains, the sniper is right there on the balcony about 3 feet from me. I use my gun on him. The first shot fires and doesnt do anything. Second shot hits him in the chest, but he doest react. Third shot nails him in the same spot, but nothing. He then aims his rifle at me and fires. I fly back and land on my bed. Then I woke up.
I don't know if its the weirdest, but definitely the most recent. I'm walking with my Mom through a bunch of trees, it almost seemed like we were in a wooded area near my apartment complex. Anyways, we're walking and the ground starts shaking and then I look up to the right and there is a bright red cloud that fills the sky, but I can tell it's approaching us. I tell my Mom I love her, hug her, and then before the cloud reaches us I popped up from sleep. I don't know if that the shaking ground and red cloud were a result of an atomic bomb or what, but a bomb is my best guess. It definitely looked like a HUGE explosion.
when i was in high school i had a recurring dream for months. I would be walking down a gravel road in a small village in France and I would suddenly see a beautiful women (not her face only from the back... no jokes please! ) running into an old house. It looked like she was in trouble, running from somebody. So I chased her and yelled out to her to see if she needed help. She just kept running up and up stairs in the house. I never could catch her and we ran through tons of rooms in this maze of a house. Finally I get to the top floor of the house and I see her standing at a huge windowsill. I start to run towards her and she jumps out the window. I look over the windowsill and she's just gone. than i would wake up. it was one odd dream!
I had a friend of mine commit suicide, and about a day before his funeral, I had a dream that I was talking to him in Heaven. It was all in white, and people were walking along and all happy. I asked him how he was, and he told me to tell everyone he was at peace. I then asked him what it was like to die...and he leaned in and said...ah man, let me tell you...... I popped awake at 3am.....for no reason.......other then maybe I was not supposed to know. DD
I saw Star Wars in the movie theater when I was 3 or 4 years old... for about 6 months after I saw the movie... I kept having this horrible nightmare... I was in a big warehouse and I was moving around like R2D2-- all slow and rolling... A big truck-- an 18 wheeler or something-- kept trying to back over me... and it was driven by Darth Vader... That sucked.
I have the recurring "I still have a paper due in order to get my degree!!!!" dream - a real nightmare. The night my uncle died (before I knew) I had a dream in which he walked up to me, shook my hand, and said "It's been great knowing you." Freaked me out.
Last night I had a pretty crazy dream. I was in prison with Hannibal Lector and we escaped. We killed some guards and some people that were in this apartment that said they were going to call the cops on us. I just kept thinking that this is terrible and that I am so screwed. I had this incredible feeling of dispair because I knew I wasnt going to ever be able to go home to my family again. I was also scared that I might get my ass eaten for lunch too.
last nights dream was weird. I dreamed there was this gigantic Tiger in a large theatre. The theatre was packed full of people and we were all trying to run out one door. I was somewhere in the middle near the back wishing the people would move more quickly out the door so i could get out before being devoured by this Tiger. Once I made it out the door a few other bodies and me didn't want to brave the halls because we knew the Tiger was lurking in the halls stalking us so we took the stairs. But the stairs never ended, the theatre was suspended in air and there was really no escape, only the safety of the stairwell. Somehow though the scenery changed and I was in a store with other bodies who acted and sensed that this gigantic tiger was hunting us and getting nearer. I found a gun and loaded some kind of liquid bottles in it and when the Tiger neared, I shot him multiple times...either i cant remember what happen after that or i swiched into another dream. The flying dream has been a reoccuring dream for me as well. Its not flying but more like Im walking in air and its always hard to come back down to the ground. The other night I had a pretty weird one too. I was in a camp like ground with a few other deserters or castaways or last survivors on earth. It was like some sort of apocalyptic enviroment. I remember I wanted to leave the marked area that was set up for us to stay to stay in. I walked away and looked up in the sky and there was thousands of alien spaceships flying in patterns up above. They then came down and started attacking us. I remember seeing what I sensed was the head alien and through some sort of mental telepathy he was telling me he created my DNA and he was my god and for me to bow and worship him. I woke up quickly after that in a sweat and was tripping out the rest of the day.
How Weird that this thread came up. Just last night I had the most akward dream. Eminem of all people was driving my whole family like out on a highway. My Step Dad kept yelling at him and telling him to change lanes, But he never said a word or got mad like you might expect. Then There were these 2 Hookers in the back seat, And they were both trying to get me to go with one of them. To convince me they showed me revealing pictures of themselves. It would have been nice, But my freakin MOM was sitting right next to me. I've got to stop eating fried chicken and flamin hot cheetos while watching Eminem music videos before I go to bed.
Dreamt this sometime last week ... I was walking in some pastures, enjoying the scenery, the flowers, the horses and, as I do in real life, talking to myself ... going over certain things that have happened in the past, basically reliving them, laughing to myself etc. And then out of nowhere a spider crawls into my mouth at an ungodly speed ... and I start flailing my arms going nuts, and I try to spit it out. Turns out, I got up and spit on my pillow and lied back down and thats when I woke up to find my cheek all covered in spit ... YUCK! I must have spit real hard or in an awkward position, cuz the entire next day my throat hurt so bad! I get those kinda dreams a lot where you end up doing the action in sleep, like if you dream you're playing soccer and you just made an acrobatic kick, I feel myself kicking high up, or like if you dream that you're falling, I can feel myself thump back on the bed. I died once, got ran over by a car. Strange you should ask tho', I survived a Tornado last night. I got into the basement and underneath a blackendecker table. Roof was blown off hourse, and a John Deer Tractor trailer landed two feet away from me. Up to knees in water. It was kinda cool.
I was fighting someone in a dream one time and my poor dog who sleeps at the foot of my bed got one hell of a kick out of my dream literally. This woke me up immediately and I had to tell her I was sorry for kicking her.
One time I was visiting my parents, sleeping in my old bedroom, when I woke up in the middle of the night to noises that sounded like cannon shots from outside my bedroom window. I got up to see what was going on. When I tried to flip the lightswitch on the wall, the light would not turn on. I tought the light didnt work becuase I had it turned off at the ceiling fan switch. I tried to turn it on using that swithc and still nothing happened. Then I started to walk downsatirs to ask my parents what was going on. I woke up. Again I went to turn on the light and nothing would happen. I started to go downstaris again, when I woke up. I started getting worried. Again I tried with the light and nothing happened... I woke up again and again and again and again. Each time I could not tell if I was awake or dreaming. Finally I tried to turn on the radio. I could barley hear some music coming from the speakers, but It still did not seem right. Panicking, I started smelling things and I licking my pillow just to see if they were real. But I could not tell. Exasperated, I said to myself, "I give up." I kneeled down, layed my head on my bed, and closed my eyes. Then, I had the sensation of the whole world imploding into my mind, like a reverse bomb in slow motion. It was then that really I woke up. My mother had heard me screaming from her downstairs bedroom. She came in and woke me up. I was really shaken. I could not get back to sleep for a couple of hours, so I just watched t.v. That was the WEIRDEST dream I've had.
This still freaks me out... Several years ago I dreamed of a little girl telling me a story, it started off cute then turned horrific. She told me of a girl that had been tortured and killed, as she provided details I kept wanting to know the end of the story, and she kept saying "You won't like the end of this story". I began to awake and saw the little girl that was telling me the story, and just as I was about to awake I realized somehow that this was the girl that had been killed. Trying desparately to wake up the last thing the girl said to me was, " I told you that you wouldn't like the end to this story..."
I had one hell of a weird dream back in 8th grade. I think it's because of all the history they teach in schools these days. It went sort of like this: I was in one of those slave ships, whole lotta people crammed on 1 ship, but these were people of all colors. And guess who the ship was being run by......none else than Hitler. Yep. So anyways me and some guy are tryin to escape this ship and we find a hole or a secret passage or something in the ship and were waiting fo the ship to dock. When it finally does, we sneak inside the passage and come out on the other side in where else but the..........Greek Coliseum! ??? !!! We run around the Coliseum with Hitler's men coming after us and then the dream ends somewhere on the jog.
