1st Quarter: Colts, @Dolphins, @ Saints, Steelers 2nd Quarter: Raiders, @Ravens, @Titans, Jaguars 3rd Quarter: Browns, @Buccaneers, @Jaguars, Falcons 4th Quarter: @Bengals, Panthers, @Colts, Titans I see the first quarter of our season like weathering the storm and taking our shots. Second quarter, teams know who we are and we are a little bruised now we have to show our true colors Third, Can we sustain? Do we falter after fighting the toughest part of our season? Dig deep. Fourth, this is where great teams put their foot on their opponents throat and sail to victory and heal up from a long season I like our schedule this year, and I'm hoping we have what it takes to go the distance.
2nd quarter, easily. Our run defense has not been great, so the Raiders have the potential to run it down our throat all day. Ravens are the best defense we'll see all season. @Tennessee will have division title implications, and the Jags always play us tough. These 4 games will tell us whether we're really turning the corner (which I suspect we are) or if we're going to coast to a 9 win season and hope that's good enough.
Got the second vote in and went with the second as well. Raiders, Ravens, Titans are all tough games. No other 4-game set has 3 easily lose-able games.
Ravens D might be the best in the NFL , Raiders are playing well , Titans are also playing well considering many issues. Jags always give texans a tough time wherever they play. Easily it is the 2nd quarter of the season .
I probably would've had a different answer before the season, but Baltimore is tough and the Raiders and Titans are better than I expected them to be.
With Andre the second quarter. Without Andre the second quarter is unbelievable. If he misses the next 4 weeks and we come away with a split, I'd be totally satisfied.
I think it's the first 4 if this was asked before the season. With AJ possibly out, it's the second quarter.
Colts, @Dolphins, @Saints, Steelers [3-1] Raiders, @Ravens, @Titans, Jaguars [3-1] <-- should be Browns, @Buccaneers, @Jaguars, Falcons [4-0] <-- should be @Bengals, Panthers, @Colts, Titans [4-0] <-- should be I said this was a 12-4 team at the beginning of the year and chose 10-6 when you add the Kubiak factor into it. looking at this schedule . .13-3 should be possible because I think we will F' around and split with the titans for some ungodly reason This team . . WITH OR WITHOUT AJ should beat the rest of those teams [minus the ravens. . would like to have AJ for that ] HARD GAMES LEFT: Ravens - Bucs - Falcons Add split with the Titans . .. and at worse that is 11-5 Rocket River
Before the season started, most people would have been satisfied coming out of the first 4 games 2-2. Or first 6 games 3-3 can't remember which.
Q1 Opponents currently 5-10 with a combined points differential of -52 Q2 opponents currently 9-7 with a combined points differential of +46 Q3 Opponents currently 7-9 with a combined points differential of -80 Q4 opponents currently 6-9 with a combined points differential of -13 Seems fairly obvious.....
2nd Quarter - Raiders, @ Ravens, @ Titans, Jags Fairly competitive schedule, the two in the middle are going to be kind of tough. While, the Raiders and Jags might put up a great fight in a losing cause. For some reason, I think the Texans will not struggle with the Bucs, and win in a shoot out against Atlanta (the Texans have a better defense right now), who are very beatable on the road.
Q1 Opponents have played the Texans 4 times. Q2 Opponents have played Texans 0 times. Got to take strength of schedule into account.
I would have far more confidence in our team if it wasn't for our head coach and GM. For the most part the players are ok, with a couple ones that could be replaced (ie: Kareem)
I voted semi-sarcastically. I hope our fortunes don't come down to a 4th quarter miracle run. We are looking good; Q2 should be a great test.
