I got my hopes up for Bosh and when I heard we were basically doing the NY deal plus Landry for Martin I was pretty pissed.

I seriously doubt Morey will hold onto the 2012 pick and will use it to get a deal done this off season. Will he go after a backup big? A big name in a sign and trade? Who?

Well I agree a 2nd move will be made (this summer). Maybe our "hometown-ish" appeal would work on Bosh ( he's a Dallas guy.) Although the Raptors and the Suns would probably both be looking for sign and trade since both star PF's will be leaving. I for one want Stoudemire so our team has some toughness and grit and interior D since STAT can block shots and is more attainable then Bosh because frankly bosh is the more attractive(in a basketball sense NO HOMO) to obtain.

Some people on this board severely UNDERRATE Kevin Martin! He is what exactly what we need! You watch, Ariza, Battier and the rest of the guys will suddenly have higher field goal % as a result! Martin does everything you could ask for get to the line, drive, and has excellent 3 point %! Do you realize Kevin Martin is one of the most EFFICIENT scorers in NBA History?

I just caught who we traded for only a few hrs ago when the deadline ended and I'm not going to start speculating on trades (hrs after the deadline) 4 months away. Can't we just take a break onthe speculation for a few hrs and rest knowing, hey Morey is kind of a decent GM?

Bosh will be the primary target, but would Bosh rather play with D-Wade in NY or with Yao Ming in Houston?

Amare is probably the secondary target.

When in the penalty Yao is THE most efficient. Just like Martin, that does not help when he is missing tons of games. But whatever, I am just looking to the future. wondering what we can do with these chips.

Bosh is the better player imo but if we can work a trade for Amare that doesn't cost us Aaron Brooks it would be mighty tempting. His contract demands will also weigh in but even if we had to overpay Amare a bit that is a heck of a core. Morey would be able to fill in the gaps with some more quality cheap role players. Going to be a fun summer and hey, if we miss out lets just hope those Knick draft picks pan out.
