I just my tenth bite for today. Now I'm scratching all over. Is there any other reason for them to exist other than being a nuisance and to spread diseases?
Yeah but those other insects don't really suck your blood and make you itch for the rest of the day. If they were only created for the soul purpose of being the food of another species, then couldn't God (if you believe in one) just created them without the blood sucking stuff?
I don't. But if you believe in evolution (and if you don't, I pretty much don't have anything more to say to you), every species is the way it is because it wouldn't survive otherwise. So if mosquitos suck blood, there is a reason for that. Why? I would guess they have to feed too, no? (maybe maybe no)
When traveling through S. Asia a few years ago, I got malaria from a mosquito. Its not fun visiting a hospital over there.

Damnit I couldn't sleep last night cus of those damn mosquitoes. I'm getting a mosquito net for my bed. Sucks living in Asia especially during the rain season.
when i was there last year, i have to get one of those. i was sleeping inside a box tent. good thing is that, it keeps all kinds of bugs out. i was laying in bed watching spiders running around on the outside. i hate spiders. they creep me out. i also used those burning things, not sure what it's called. electric lantern thing to zap them too.
