Is this the stupidest segment in TNT basketball coverage history? I can barely understand what KG is saying most of the time, but when I can he is just mumbling about random things and giving shout outs. Are there people who think this is cool?
I guess I'm not the only one that doesn't understand what he is saying. When I see KG, i'm running for the remote.
I don't get this segment at all, either. They already have a solid thing going so not really sure why they bring Garnett into the mix. Then again, I thought the same thing about Shaq and yet they just keep winning Emmy awards.
Inside the NBA USED to be such a great show. But ever since Shaq was added (and now KG) its become more about an athletes "private club" than a show covering the NBA. It's basically a clown show now.
I think it's entertaining. I also think Shaq makes Inside the NBA better with his Shaqtin a Fool segment, but I mostly tune in to hear Barkley get into a hilarious argument with someone on the show.
Covering sports without any bit of entertainment is boring. Inside the NBA has always had the fun side to it, even before Shaq joined.
It would be better if they were drinking or smoking. Like when Baron Davis and Jason Richardson came on the show high as could be back when the Warriors beat the Mavs. But KG & GP are captain - NO LAUGHING, NO FUN. I don't even think Gary Payton II was allowed to watch cartoons as a child.
Years of prospective from the players point of view, hopefully some good basketball analysis and knowledge.
