This season has started MUCH differently than last season did. So, as a kind of questionnaire, what do you thing the MAIN reason the Rockets are so improved? Of course, there are several, but try to choose one or two of the following, or come up with your own...

    a) Hakeem's re-emergence as a strong big man
    b) Francis trying to be more of a team player
    c) Mobley's improvement offensively
    d) Jason Collier doing, well, whatever Jason Collier does... [IMG] (Just kidding)
    e) Barkley's absence in the paint
    f) ISO's and three-guard lineup
    g) Maurice Taylor's scoring and rebounding ?? prowess [IMG]
    i) Moochie Norris' play
    j) Your ideas?

I'd have to say that while Hakeem's re-emergence has been huge, I think the big difference on this team has been the play of Moochie Norris. The guy is incredibly consistent, arguably our best play-maker and ballhandler, and, IMHO, the best kept secret of a point guard in the NBA. He gives you whatever you need every night--scoring, assists, and great defense (remember him shutting down the Glove in the preseason?). He is also great when it comes to getting Steve more involved offensively, by taking some of the ballhandling and playmaking pressures off of 'Chise.

    Your ideas/thoughts?

    B, C, and F.
    Definitely not E or G.
Collier pre-injury was helping this team.
Also, Mobley and Francis having more experience, as well as the team just having more time together.
