I think the backcourt of Tony and Manu has to be one of the top ones in the league. If we face the Spurs in the playoffs these guys scare me next to a healthy Duncan

    1. Arenas/Hughes
    2. Nash/Q
    3. Billups/Hamilton
    4. Carter/Kidd
    5. Wade/Jones

    And of course: Sura/Wesley ;)

Yep all those are better than Manu and Parker. Tmac and a pretty much anybody that can dribble the ball is better than Manu and Parker if you consider Tmac a 2 guard.

I also think Opie and Allen are better than Gino and Parker.

Tops has to go to Arenas and Hughes. Hughes' game is just sick.

I'm going to weight this based on the playoff atmosphere. I have my doubts about Arenas when it comes to serious PG play versus his extremely potent scoring ability. I'm also factoring consistency. Any off-games in the postseason kills you (Parker in the second half of last year's Lakers series). Of course, I'm not pondering this too seriously.

    1. Iverson - Iguodala (let's face it, AI wins games all alone)
    2. Billups - Hamilton (they earned it last year)
    3. Kidd - Carter (great blend of IQ and ability)
    4. Nash - Q/JJ (not dominant, but are high octane for the engine)
    5. Parker - Ginobili (would be #1 if not for bad habit of disappearing)
    6. Wade - Jones (if Jones was anything but a zero.....)
    7. Bibby - Mobley
    8. Arenas - Hughes
    9. Hinrich - Duhon/Gordon
    10. Ridnour/Daniels - Allen
    11. Terry - Howard
    12. Sura - Wesley
    13. Miller/Boykins - Buckner
    14. Payton - West/Davis
    15. Williams - Wells/Miller
    16. Johnson - Miller (all apologies to Reggie. He's had an impressive year)

But the thread was asking for best backcourts amongst PLAYOFF teams. However if was just best backcourt overall, JRich and the Baron would definately be right up there. very potent combination.
