If this thread has been made by the time I post this, oh well. Threads are popping up at a rate of 10 threads per minute.

I fancy this, though it would hurt us a bit defensively...

    Scola/Deek
    Landry/Hayes
    Battier/Someone (Green, Jones)
    McGrady/Head
    Alston/BJax/Brooks

Looks like McGrady and Battier are going to have to play A LOT of minutes.

    Scola/Mutombo
    Landry/Hayes
    Battier/
    McGrady/Head
    Alston/Jackson

Thats pretty much the major rotation. Brent Barry can fill that spot behind Battier. But our season simply rests on the rookie, high-energy, two-headed power forward, Scolandry.

I'm sorry but a combo of Scola and Landry gives up too much size in the West.

We need to start Deke even if he only plays around 20 minutes a night.

Our starting lineup shoulb be: Scola, Landry, Novak, Green, and AB. Let Tmac heal his injuries. Buy out who ever want to be bought out. Prepare for the next season.

I was kind of thinking that too, but we do have very littlel depth at legit centers, so it makes it a tough choice. Let's see if we can get anyone signed in the next few days to add some depth.

Yep no doubt, that is what Adelman will do to begin with. I want Landry off the bench with Hayes. Hayes and Deke off the bench scares me.

Can the Rockets get an extra slot to sign someone because of Yao's injury and how much can they spend?

Well, at least Mutumbo got plenty of rest this season.

Our offense is about to completely go to hell again though with him and Hayes getting playing time.

Hopefully Jackson helps guys learn the offense freakishly fast through example.

But can Deek come in and provide what he was able to provide last season, considering he has had almost no real game play this season? You'd like to think so out of a veteran like Mutumbo, but I worry that he has seen too little action this season. And while we're still fighting to get into the playoffs, that certainly hurts us.

My guess is that we will move Scola to center and Hayes will go back to starting PF. I think the Rockets want Landry's hustle/scoring off the bench. Landry might come off the bench, but he will get more mins than Hayes and will finish the game at PF.

The rest of the rotation will pretty much stay as-is.

I'm starting to lean toward this one as well. That way we don't start all our firepower and Hayes can D up for us on someone and get his 4 fouls in the first quarter. Luckily, it won't matter, cause then Landry will come in a provide some offense also.

If Novak is on the floor for 13 minutes per game, then we have a problem. I don't know what Novaks +/- is, but it can't be good. It seems like everytime he's on the floor we lack both offensively and defensively big time. Then he hits a three (one time a game winner) and we all love him even though he provides nothing else. Don't get me wrong... I hope he turns into a solid player.

Rockets need Barry more than ever. He's not signing now but if he did it'd give them the option of signing Mike Harris at the expense of waiving Green/Novak.

    Alston/Jackson
    McGrady/Head
    Battier/Barry
    Scola/Landry/Harris
    Deke/Hayes

I think the Scola/Landry unit is that good, it can takeover from Yao without problem.
