    What is our Death Lineup?

We know what the Warriors' death lineup is:

Curry, Klay, Iggy, Donkey, & Durant
Games this lineup was used: 38
    Minutes used this season: 178
    Offensive rating: 124.1
    Defensive rating: 95.0
    Net rating: +29.1 (wow!)
*Boogie Cousins actually makes their lineups worse in most cases.*

So, what has been our death lineup this season? Well, its kinda complicated because we've never really been healthy enough to find one until after the all star break. So, i decided to use that date as the starting point, and here are my lineup candidates...

    Candidate #1...
CP, Harden, House, Tucker, & Clint
Games this lineup was used: 7
    Minutes used after ASB: 27
    Offensive rating: 125.0
    Defensive rating: 88.3
    Net rating: +36.7 (wow!)

    Candidate #2 (our starters)...
CP, Harden, EG, Tucker, & Clint
Games this lineup was used: 18
    Minutes used after ASB: 247
    Offensive rating: 108.5
    Defensive rating: 98.3
    Net rating: + 10.2

    Candidate #3...
Harden, EG, House, Tucker, & Clint
Games this lineup was used: 8
    Minutes used after ASB: 49
    Offensive rating: 115.3
    Defensive rating: 101.8
    Net rating: +13.5

I hope we use these last few games to experiment more with candidate #1 to see if it is this deadly with more minutes together. That may be our death lineup.

Do you see any other Rockets' lineup that has caught your eye since the all star break?

That lineup is what coach is more comfortable with, but is it truly our death lineup?

I looked for this lineup to see if we've used it...I can't find where we have.
    It might work though.

    It is.

    I trust it over everything.

It's the best at switching defensively.

It has the best chemistry and continuity.

It has the best offensive balance.

    It's the death lineup.

I’d say group 1 deserves some more time together in these last few games to see what we have.

Our starting group likely spends the majority of its minutes against the toughest opposing lineups.

Harden, EG, Shump, Tucker, & Clint
    8 games
    18 minutes
    Offensive rating: 112.8
    Defensive rating: 81.6
    Net rating: +31.2 (wow!)

Really if you wanna dissect these lineups look at it this way.

Harden, tucker and capela are in all 3. So they are automatic.

Cp3 is in 2, ego is in 2, house is in 2.

Cp3 is obviously also a lock.

So it comes down to house vs ego. I'm sure it depends mostly on who's hot but it's also who do you trust?

Ego has proven to be clutch. Hes a veteran. Hes the better switch defender. He has the chemistry and continuity.

Hes the last choice and hes a part of the death lineup.
