Not sure how many of yall catch Saved by the Bell reruns on TBS in the mornings before school/work, but I've always wondered why such a gifted actor wasn't able to find work after the show ended. I mean, the rest of the Saved by the Bell cast turned out okay, with Mario Lopez and Gosselaar still enjoying success many years later. But, Belding has never been heard from since the show. A few friends of mine ran into him at a bar near Sunset a few years back, and said he's living the dream. Unfortunately, his career hasn't gone so well since the show concluded some 14 years ago.
Man, I loved this show. This show was on NBC when it first aired, right? Saturday mornings on NBC ruled. I don't know what happened now.
I still watch it too. If you give me the plot, I can name the episode except for those awful spin-offs.
OK, how about the one where Zach was scheming to get over on Mister Belding, Kelly gets mad at Zach's shennanigans, Screech was getting shot down by Lisa, and AC and Jesse were fighting about some woman's rights issue? I totally recall that episode.
What was the name of the episode where there was sort of a mixup but in the end everyone confirmed they were good friends no matter what?
Looks to me like he's cleaning up. Using his fame the right way. Although he has put on a few pounds.
He was on an episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Charlie tries to get him to molest him or something like that.
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0368172/ Here's his next projects: Holly, Jingles and Clyde (2010) (pre-production) .... Santa Claus The Legend of Awesomest Maximus (2008) (post-production) .... Father Jay ... aka National Lampoon's The Legend Of Awesomest Maximus (USA) Creative Differences (2008) (post-production) .... Tom Stacy's Mom (2009) (completed) .... Professor Wood
Two things that have never been explained: 1) SBTB's setting moves from Indiana to Southern California. 2) Tori's disappearance.
Man I hated Tori. They had the season wrapped up, decided to do more shows, but Jesse and Kelly didn't want to do it anymore, hence those middle eps with Tori. At least the original (California, not Indiana original) cast graduated together in the end.
