The TWill move is a headscratcher to me. What does Morey have up his sleeve?

Try to combine some of this young talent with expirings to get the star player. Can Morey sneak in on Carmelo?

Since we have 4 small forwards, I think its safe to say something with small forwards.

I gave up trying to predict what he'd do but I'd say moving Scola or AB in some type of move but not sure for what...

Whoops. Tried to make a poll but it didn't work.

Speculation on the board varies from Brooks, Scola, someone else being traded.

What are trying to get? A Center? A PF?

It seems like the only positions that look set are SG and SF now.

I'm not sure if we'll find a taker for JJ, but I'd bet my life savings that AB won't be in a Rockets uni come March.

I wouldn't mind trading AB, Jeffries, Bud, and Martin for an All-Star, but Morey's not God.

Morey will keep collecting his fishbones from the trash bin, hoping that one day he will get a whole fish with those fishbones. Is it gonna happen?

Getting rid of JT for nothing and then TWill... seems like a step back for our team... there must be some leap forward planned.

Well next move will be interesting.

But the Rockets have stock piled some players.

Basically everyone on the team has value as expiring contractw, potential upside, proven quality players.

So depending on whom Morey goes after, then that's going to dictate as to whom is traded. But it could be anyone (Martin, Brooks, Lowry, Scola, etc....)

I am reminded of 2009 draft night when the Rox had no picks but promised to be active...now they have two lottery players from that night (and Chase who should have got in the top 20) - so I guess they are just trying to fulfill their promise (albeit two years later) :p

They all have value. Add them up I guess its a huge barrel of ok players and one good player to trade for a star potential player it looks like to me... If he is trying to let Adelman balance.

    Battier
    Budinger
    Williams
    Lee
    Martin??

    Then I dont know...

Somewhat agree with u. We really need to really replace Scola for a better guy. I have to say he is a good guy, but he can not make us be the champion.
I do not think it is a good idea to trade AB out. But if u want value back, u need to give up something.
If we want the champion, we still need healthy Yao coming back. He can improve our defense if he can be 80% as before. Also he will be our advantage of the inside against other teams, which is very important to those who want to be a champion. We can see Lakers, Celtics. They both have very good inside guys.

The Rockets need a center who can play who is not injured all of the time and who is not moving quickly into the twilight of his career.
