What is with all the NFL Draft/Combine coverage in Houston. Rockets are playing great, but it seems like they barely play in the city other than reading Clutchfans. They don't even have the games playing at the gym, and they were on TNT last night. Had to watch on my phone.

Until the rockets win another title they will be a DISTANT second on this poll .

If they do win , people will still prefer the Texans .

I don't know why anyone would be really excited by the NFL draft in Houston. The ownership of the Texans is the same it has always been and the head coach is the same. Nothing really changes at Reliant........ the cycle is the same.......... the team bottoms out for a few season, gets a couple high draft picks and optimism reigns.... they make the playoffs a few times, don't get far......... they then are a .500% team and they bottom out again.

Haven't really seen or heard that much NFL Draft talk.

But I assume that local sports talk radio is all over it. And really, that's ok with me. I don't need the talk radio guys to discuss the Rockets because I've never heard them discussed thoughtfully on local radio (outside of Pallilo).

    ..the draft.

There are more Texans fans who aren't Rockets fans then there are Rockets fans altogether. And a lot of us Rockets fans are Texans fans as well, even if they are lower on the totem pole for us.

Silly pool because it's both. Houston isn't one sports fan, it's thousands with dozens of interests.

If you’ve been to a Rocket game you would know the answer to the question.

This is Texas. Football will always be life for most Texans (not me, though).

I can't speak for the rest of Houston but I could care less if the NFL folded tomorrow. I have never in my life voluntarily watched a football game. I have zero interest in football.

Houston is more of a football town. Astros and Rockets have tons of fair weather fans that only care when they're winning. Answer is probably the NFL draft unfortunately lol

Texans can win 2 games and still get at least twice the amount of love as a 50+ win Rockets team...we all know this

go to HEB on a Sunday...Texans jerseys everywhere

go pretty much anywhere in Houston...u want see too many Rockets jersey or too much Rockets gear

if someone threw a football onto the court at TC the place would explode and sound like game 7 of the WCF

    Non-diehard-Rocket-fan-Houstonian Priorities:
    • Eating
    • Drinking
    • Texans
    • Other Football teams
    • NFL Draft
    • JJ Watt
    • Watson
    • O'Brien
    • Are the Astros going to make it? Maybe? I'll show up
    • Dynamo? Soccer is fun. The games can end in ties.
    • Taking advantage of rare nice weather days
    • Netflix
    • Doin' taxes cause that's what's going down on the streets
    • Lakers (I feel like I see more LA fans at our home games)
    • Almost anything else
    • Rockets

I didn't bother I was just watching the game on my phone. You have to walk down to the front to get them to do anything. Most of the employees DGAF.
