Mogwai - Happy Songs for Happy People Flaming Lips - Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots Ornette Coleman - Beauty is a Rare Thing The Harder They Come Soundtrack Brian Eno - Music for Airports Young and Sexy - Stand Up for Your Mother A note about the last one - my band opened for them a couple of weeks ago but missed their set due to having to lug all the equipment back to the studio. I did make it back for their last 3 songs, which included a really good version of Big Star's "Thirteen." So I bought their CD and have enjoyed it quite a bit.
Car - none -- sports radio or pop/disco station when the wife's with me. Home: cbc jazz -- compilation holly cole -- baby its cold dar williams -- green world kelly joe phelps -- shine eyed mr zen guy davis -- butt naked free Must have been a mello Sunday morning when i last loaded the cd player! Funny thing..each of those cd's (except the compilation) were purchased at shows directly from the musicians -- i'm such a music snob. (and if you like blues -- recommend you check out guy davis - especially if you can see him live -- he plays relatively small venues and is an all around good guy to chat with after the show).
car: "How the West Was Won" - Led Zeppelin Zep compolation 1 Zep compolation 2 home: Led Zeppelin playlist new Zep DVD (totally. awesome.) ...alright, so i'm obsessed w/ Led Zeppelin, but only cuz they're cooler than any other band in recorded history.
