I love these threads, it introduces me to new music from time to time. My cd player/mp3 player: Garden State Soundtrack- how many times can I say this is simply amazing. Death Cab for Cutie-Photo Album Interpol-Antics Postal Service-Give Up Iron and Wine- Our Endless Numbered Days
Another Dukes of Houston bootleg...in the car. Yesterday, listened to Social Distortion's greatest hits at home, at ear splitting volume. Had a rough day at work and I wanted to rawk with an ice cold brewski in my hand as soon as I got home.
Devendra Banhart - Nino Rojo Juana Molina - Segundo Badly Drawn Boy - One Plus One Is One Animal Collective - Spirit They've Gone, Spirit They've Vanished Do Make Say Think - Winter Hymn Country Hymn Secret Hymn
Single disc car CD player, with one song set to repeat endlessly in a loop, my 4 year old son's favorite, "If You're Happy and You Know It..." from the non-stop classic disc, "The 100 Greatest Kid's Songs." Anyone want me to list all of the classic tunes?
These things always pass me by a bit... I use my iPod in the car, at home and at work, so I always have everything with me. But I have been listening the The Cure a lot, along with Robert Johnson, and The Kinks.
matchbox twenty - Yourself or Someone Like You Jet - Get Born Cake - Comfort Eagle oh, and btw, get ready for this new song by Trick Daddy, Lil Jon, and Twista that samples Ozzy's "Crazy Train," i have it on my cpu and it's about to blow up.
Helmet - Size Matters. It's Helmet all right, but this new disc is a bit prosaic. Mastodon - Leviathan. This is an album of the year contender. Excellent progressive follow to their debut. Dillinger Escape Plan - Miss Machine. Sounds like the love-child of a threesome between DEP, Mike Patton and NIN. It's good. ISIS - Panopticon. I just got this one. Definitely ISIS. Pantera - Official Live 101 Proof. Maybe the most exciting live album I've ever heard. Converge - You Fail Me. It's step backwards from Jane Doe, but it's still Converge. You know what you're getting.
No thanks. I remember how disappointed I was when I first listened to this CD. But it has gotten better and better after every listen. That is the thing that I love about Massive Attack - each one of their 4 CDs have a unique sound to them (even though "100th Window" can be argued as being very close to "Mezzanine").
Lloyd Banks - Hunger for More Young Buck - Straight Outta Cashville Okayplayer presents - True Notes Volume 1 D12 - D12 World Switchfoot - beautiful letdown (wtf)
Coheed and Cambria- In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth:3 Coheed and Cambria- The Second Stage Turbine Blade The Dillinger Escape Plan- Miss Machine The Dillinger Escape Plan- Calculating Infinity Soundgarden- Down on the Upside Alice in Chains- Nothing Safe
