We have heard reports on almost all rockets players but have not heard of or seen Dan Langhi. He did not play summer league ball. Is he working on his game? If Cato and others are, I would think he is too. Did the rockets actually tell him to go about his business? Is it a situation where he is on nobody's priority list that he just has to sit and wait until training camp? Some has said on this board that he would be out of the league, but I cannot see that. Look at Doleac! Yes he is 40lbs heavier and that means something, but his number across the board is comparable to DL's who is a quicker 6-11.

That's cold man. Anyway, he didn't show up on any team's summer league roster, so I bet he's out pushing his resume in Europe.

Probably the best place for him. Assuming he hasn't lost his confidence, he could probably do well and perhaps even dominate over there.

    Great job Baqui99!:D

Hey Dear Rock, Langhi is done. He was supposed to be a shooter but when he got on the court he was too scared to pull the trigger which basically makes him useless. Look for Lanhi to DOMINATE the CBA or the NBDL. ;)

    What's he doing this summer?

Probably getting some Zanex (sp?) from the doctor for panic disorder.

But I hope he catches on somewhere, somehow. Unemployment, or underemployment, blows.

Probably working out for an NBDL team. I doubt that he has decided toi end his career without trying to make another team. You have to remember that Langhi thinks he has talent. He just thinks that the Rockets have not given him any playing time.

He does have the potential - just needs more PT, hopefully he gets his experience in Europe, NBDL, etc. and can come back to the NBA, he needs some more upper body strength too.

Does anyone have any real info of Langhi?

He could benefit greatly from playing in Europe.

I wish the NBA had a minor league like MLB. Each team with its own developing team. That way we could keep Langhi and players like him that come along. Players that have skill that just need some more developing.

Ever seen the that movie "Juwana Man." I didn't either. But maybe Langhi has decided to put a wig on and dominate the WNBA. Who knows? Its possible, right?
    :D

He probably will play in some smaller league, like the NBDL or some place in Europe.

that vandy education would get him a better job than mcdonalds......

maybe he will be able to develop his game some more in europe though.. there might be some team willing to let him be at the end of their bench or on their IR?

Why do any of these players play in the DL when supposedly almost any scrub over here can go to Europe and get paid a lot more?

Well I'm sure most people don't want to go across the world, learn a new language and culture, and be away from your family just to get paid more.
