    Ryan Bowen.

I always smile when I see Clutch's April 1 post and think "Bravo, well done, sir."

The Bowen one actually got me. I was screaming at my wife "They gave Bowen a 6 year\40 million dollar deal! WFT? Has Van Gundy lost his mind?!" It was 15 minutes before I realized the date then some frantic searching of other sport sites before I calmed down.

    Well done as always, Clutch!

The site changing over to a Spurs fan site....I was like WTF !!!

There should be a site history to show all the April Fools jokes....there are some doozies in there.

If anyone needs a refresher, the links to past April Fools is at the bottom after the link:
    http://www.clutchfans.net/news/1462/hakeem_return_unfortunately_just_a_dream/

I personally fell for the Bowen and collarbone ones (for a second! :D ) but I had to vote for this years just for the work/skill that went into it and the fact that it still sucking people in after all these years!! LOL

06 and 99 were the best. This year's was a given with the ESBN and the CLUTCHFANS in the link, and plus if you clicked on comments, it took you to a story from 07. But still got alot of people though.

I think the Bowen one. Even though I knew what day it was, I still fell for it. It seemed like a Van Gundy move. Combine that with the Mo Taylor, Cato, & Matt Maloney contracts and it seemed to make sense.

I woke up yesterday actually excited to see what Clutch would pull this year...

That one was the one I fell for hook line and sinker. I remember I was in college back then and went to check out the site as usual in the morning and saw that, I was pissed off all day. Hell I don't think I came back to the site for a few days and when I did, well I felt stupid.

Best one was probably the Ryan Bowen one because it played so closely to reality

Well, I got caught on the Rudy parting with Rockets story, although skeptical and figured it out pretty quick. I was really impressed with how well Clutch did it.

But, was totally fooled by the Spurs site switch. I was SO mad. That was just so shocking, and then had me rolling on the floor laughing. But, that's when I knew how dependent on this site I had become.

I look forward to this every year ... Thanks, Clutch!!!

The Spurs site, by far. Of course, I was 12 when that happened so of course I fell for it. Every year since then, I've been expecting the joke. I also remember fooling my mom by showing her the "Rudy heading to Michigan" in 2001, because she's from Michigan. She got a kick out of it. This years' prank was hilarious because so many people fell for it. I could generally tell who was just pretending to believe it and who actually believed.

1997 really got me. I was in college and was pissed at Barkley for chasing Rudy off. The best part of the story was Kevin Willis started to cry when he heard the news.

Gotta be the Spurs joke. Everything was thought of then, even the classic Rockin' Em and Got rocked sections (which I terribly miss) turned into Spurrin' em and got spurned!

My favorite was the Hakeem removed from 50 greatest players list. That caused some outrage, and it was back when people didn't point out that it was an April Fools joke at 8 in the morning.

I agree. That was the only one I ever fell for. Funny, because it wasn't even the first. But for some reason I wasn't paying attention to the date that day, and I was pretty mad.

I even called my family about it. LOL

This years was the best. To still have fooled so many people, when everyone knows its coming, well, that's awesome.

    Wow...nice trip down memory lane.

After the first one I was always prepared for the rest.

But I so enjoyed the responses this year. I kept saying to myself, "OMG, don't you guys know what day it is? LOL"
