Ive been wondering lately what the Rox would be like had they been able to keep people happy and healthy (mentally, physically) ..

So if we didnt have so many preseason injuries where would we be?

Im curious would we have been better off if Eddie was still playing with us? He would have been the perfect compliment to Yao and scored in bunches making teams pay for double teaming Yao and he has the quickness to keep up with the West's other PF's.

If Pike and AGriffin were healthy and inserted into our lineup.. Agriffin isnt a scorer but can hit the short/ midrange jumpshots while providing solid defense.

We would probably have a lineup that looks like this..

    SF
    JJ
    AGriffn
    EGriffin
    Yao

With scoring off the bench provided by MoT, Cat, Pike and Boki. Cato giving Yao his rest and providing a solid 1 2 punch.

I dont know if Agriffin would really take Cats starting spot but I think he might if we had more scorers starting.

I think it makes for interesting discussion.. if EG was mentally healthy and playing with us would we be a better team? There have been quite a few matchups exploiting our lack of quickness and scoring at the 4.

Just want your guy's input here. I feel we would have had an awesome team ..

    opinions.

I think that overall we have been very fortunate to not have any major injuries. I think only 2 games missed from 2 stsrters (JJ and Cato)

Every team in NBA has injuries during the season. Just look at the most of the teams out there.

I hope that our team remains relatively injury-free as they have so far (knock on wood).

As for whether we would have been better.....who knows, if they played like they did against the Nets, there is no hope.

but the matchup would have been better with EG guarding KMart.. another reason I ask this question is people seem so keen on RWallace.. EG reminds me of a young Rasheed. Anyone notice a resemblance in playing style and physical body type?

JVG sounded pissed today.. I wonder if any changes are coming.

I think Pike is healthy now, he just can't hit an open shot, and Eddie, well he can hit but he's hitting something completly unreleated to basketball, well not that unreleated.

SG is the second best position for relative production on our team (first is C). What are the strongest positions league wide? SG and PF. Since our SG position performs at a high level against one of the most stacked positions in the league, why would we move the player most responsible for that to the bench? That just doesn't make sense. In case anyone was wondering, our worst relative production by position is PG.
