The number one problem the Houston Rockets seem to be having right now, is playmaking. I know everybody is probably sick and tired of hearing this point being brought up, but Francis is not the best playmaker and we know this. He is more effective when he plays the offguard spot and we all know this. He is definitely one of the best shooting guards in the NBA, much better than Iverson because he is able to shoot a much higher FG%. Playing the point, Steve has a ton of turnovers, nearly 4 TOs per game. If we could just get somebody else at point guard and move Steve to shooting guard I think our team would be much better. We have too much talent right now not to be playing really good basketball. Since Steve and Cuttino play pretty much the same position, I think, we can afford to trade one of them. Im sure we can get a fair trade for the Cat. What if we were to trade him for Jason Terry or Gilbert Arenas? I think if we can get more people to pass the ball, then our whole team will begin passing the ball more and players will spend much less time standing around with the friggin's ball.

What ever we do we can't trade for a small PG like Francis.

That would be a defensive liability to have TWO guards that are
small (like Moochie and Francis on the court at the same time).

At least get someone that's tall like Penny Hardway.

How about getting TJ Ford? He is a guard who can pass.

You guys have it wrong. Francis is more effective when he has the ball in his hands, at the point guard spot. Watch what happens when Moochie and Steve are in at the same time. Steve rarely does well in that situation.

    Yeah...

I like it best when Francis is the PG, and Hawkings is the SG.

U just want him because he graduated just a few miles from you. For real, TJ FORD? Thats saying to much. I would rather have Scott Brooks on the team.

It seems like a very radical idea. Is it entirely impossible scenario, given his Frachaise status?
