What if we would have signed CWeb. What do you think our team would have been like, better or worse? Do you think we would have gotten to the playoffs, and what two players would we have selected in the mid to late draft? ok, I'm bored.......

If we had C-Webb we probably wouldn't be in the lottery,but I'm quite sure he wouldn't have been able to win many close games for us even if all of the rest of the players were fully fit. I'm glad he didn't join us.
You guys are all stating the obvious! I'm just wondering what kind of team would we be. We would probably have Eddie backing up Webb, and I'm pretty sure we'd have Nachbar with the Toronto pick and Nenad Kristic (center from Yugoslovia) with our pick. And with Lewis signing in the offseason, we'd still have a pretty good team, if not better. I'm not as Yao crazed as some of the other members, although I welcome him to town. I prefer to wait and actually see him play to make my judgement on him. My "Yao-mania" is yet to arrive.
we would not be championchip caliber team IMHO. A playoff team, but not championchip.He would stunt eddies growth to. But if we stuckj to the draft Jefferson would have been our sf. I'd take our team now over webber any day. We will be one of the best teams in the west in a few years. Chicago will be the best in the east. By the way i saw jay will play on espn2 he was not that impressive. I don't think he will be super good. I'd say he would be as good as terrel brandon in his prime.
Webber will never lead a team to a championship. It was obvious that he was not the leader of the Kings in the playoffs.
oh s*** i spelled championship wrong twice....damn. i hope i can pass compII this fall. Good point 90210, webber has proved to be someone that will not step up. All he wanted was a big payday. He is not that focused on winning as much as we think he is.
I thought Weber guarding Shaq when Vlade got tossed was admirable and showed real mustard he is just no match for The Daddy

Like I said the year before, Webber will not improve his performance from last year. Nor will he anymore in his career. He reached his epak 2 years ago. If he couldn't lead his team the past 2 years, he won't be able to next year. Eddie Griffin will be as good, if not better. Webber is not as good a defender/shotblocker as Eddie.
