What if we have the #2 pick? We have a logjam.

If we end up with the #2 pick, the consensus is Scoot Henderson.
This would put us a a major guard logjam... Also a logjam of Scoots.

If we end up drafting Scoot, we must at the very least move on from KPJ. Personally I think Scoot Henderson is a better talent than Jalen, and I am of the opinion that we build around Scoot and look to trade both Jalen and KPG for some vets or players in their primes.

This way, we'd have a core of Sengun, Jabari, Scoot with good role players like Eason, Josh, TyTy. Then a trade haul coming back in for vets or late 20-simthings to raise our culture and ensure Scoot doesn't go down the dark path that a lot of our young players are currently on.

What's the other option if we get #2? Trade the pick. Maybe it could work but I'm just not high on Jalen/KPJ backcourt anymore.

Easy, bring Jalen off the bench, move KPJ to the 2 and have Henderson at the 1.

It's not really a big deal.

there's no logjam what so ever, kpj is 1 year of dead money and that's it, you can cut him, bring him off the bench, or try to use him as salary filler in a trade

Easy. Draft Scoot and trade KPJ for a shooter.

You draft Brandon Miller! Many are going to say no because of the gun situation. He gave a guy back his gun and that guy killed another person, poor judgment but nothing criminal on his behalf.

    It's just the obvious answer.

That said, KPJ coming back is already starting to win games for the team, could make getting the #2 pick difficult if he keeps playing.

Scooters are gonna have to race for the name ‘Scoot’ and their spot on the roster. [IMG]

KPJ moves to 6th man, where he should be. He is not the type of PG to led a team. He is a scoring SG, so let him be that off the bench. He has bball talent, trying his as a PG was just an experiment for now. I know Stone and Silas is seeing that does not work long term.we have him on a great team friendly contract so just move him the a bench role. If he complains let him go, no real harm.

Move KPJ to the SF and let him lead the second unit when Henderson sits

I wouldn’t move a guard of KPJ talent before I see more from Green. Id almost pair Henderson & KPJ together if Green 3pt shot and ball handling don’t improve

Imagine almost 3 years of bashing other posters and praising how good kpj is at pg, dem kpj stan now wants to move him back to his original position as soon as we draft an actual pg. Kpj pg experiment was a waste of time

    If at #2, draft Scoot.

If Harden signs here in free agency, make other decisions (one possibility would be to trade Jalen and/ or KPjr)

KPJ spent the last 3 years preparing the ark waiting for the great Wemby flood

He brought Green & Jabari with him to start a new era

    Show the prophet some respect

The Rockets will be very lucky to get Scoot Henderson. While all of the attention is on Victor, Henderson is the #1 pick in most drafts.

If the Rockets get the #2 pick, you take Henderson and let KPJ play elsewhere. Henderson would likely be the best player pretty damn quick.

Yeah this is definitely reasonable. But if your #2 pick is coming off the bench in year 3, you’ve misfired. I think ultimately the Rockets will have to choose between KPJ or Jalen.

I don’t necessarily disagree, but ironically KPJ is our best shooter.
